For a minute yesterday, I asked myself if it was always Taboo/Incest… yet it was always referred to as I/T in short… I couldn’t trust my memory. What do we think is the explanation? That the site wants to emphasize that the category is broader than straight incest?
If Laurel sees the problem as Incest drowning out all other forms of Taboo she is correct. However, this won't change a fucking thing. The category will still be run over by incest. The only way to get all other Taboo out of the shadow of Incest is to separate Incest and Taboo into their own categories. Interracial is Taboo, and it gets its own category. Why can't Age Gap or some sort of Authority Taboo (doctor/patient, teacher/student, etc) get their own too?
This is bungled pretty hard.
