I do, yes!

I first discovered ASMR just before the pandemic and it was a godsend - especially as I struggle to fall asleep at the best of times. Are you thinking of dabbling yourself? I’d love to hear that.

Some of my favourites are ASMR Bakery, ASMR Cham, Catplant ASMR, Coromo Sara ASMR, Jodie Marie ASMR, Rainessa ASMR, Seafoam Kitten’s ASMR, Scottish Murmurs ASMR, and Tiny Hands ASMR. I also enjoy some of LunaRexx ASMR, but she tends to go down the provocative route, which is a shame as her skills are really good.

Idk about ASMR but, to the same effect some good panning in a song.... FUCKING HITS

ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response, which is like that feeling you get when you hear a certain song or see something so pleasing and relaxing and the hairs on your head and then neck stand up and you get a slight tingle down your spine. Its kinda soothes your soul in a way?
Anyway, there are videos designed to try to force that feeling.
You need headphones for it, just using regular speakers DO NOT WORK
Now, I prefer cans as opposed to earbuds for it, because it helps me relax more, and makes me think its more...real.
Theres tons and tons of "themes" for these videos. Some of them are just weird sound effects, some are people whispering, tapping on various things...some that are more successful at it use much better speakers and mics, that lool like this as an example!

One of the things I like is whispering into ears, blowing softly in the ears...
Some do fake doctor visits and pretend to clean out your ears which can be relaxing.
With the cans it feels like the artist is standing right next to you/behind you etc and using a tool to clean your ears/whisper into them etc.
Some ASMR is VERY sexual. I dont like this and feel it diminishes the work of those who do it well because it just makes it about "what girl can look the sexiest" and make money pretending to do "ASMR" by whispering how much she wants to suck your cock etc. when real ASMR isnt about that at all.

Yes, a lot of ASMR artists are in fact, very pretty, including some of the most successful ones. Some have MILLIONS of followers/subscribers on YouTube etc.
It also doesnt work for everyone, and/or they dont give it a fair chance.
Also, I close my eyes, so I dont give a fuck what the person looks like. I think it enhances the audio aspect.

My mother tried it once and HATED it.

I try to do it every week, and I also meditate every week.

Anyway...some themes are about pretending you visit a doctors office, or a spa, or getting a haircut and shave. Some work better than others, truly varies on the person listening/watching as well as the if the artist is capable or not.

It's probably the joint feeling and sound but the tattoo gun gives me this feeling. Hours in the chair can be so meditative. My tattoo artist does reiki as she's tattooing too, which is pretty amazing.

I tried to listen to some ASMR and it didn't work for me.
On the other hand, I do love audios. I love hearing voices.
I love hearing certain things in the music I listen to like the harmonies or acappella arrangements and such.

And I'm not just talking about dirty audios either.

I love hearing different accents or just hearing someone just talk.
Maybe kind of weird, but that's me. :D
