This is not what I wanted when I voted for him, but many people have seen the inevitability of some sort of military action in this term. This may be the best case scenario for that inevitability, a competent president who knows when to say Mission Accomplished, GTFO. Staying in a war that most of the nation doesn't want could be the one thing that gets him a 25th.
