So... Im going to be real honest. I've not read all of the books or watched all of the movies yet. But, I will say Hagrid and Hermione are fairly high on the list. But I think my favorite so far is Moaning Myrtle. So, for my next prompt, I’m going with Harry Potter. Surprise!
Some of you may not be big Potterhead nerds like me but I couldn’t not do this prompt at some point. It can be your favorite character, favorite book or movie, all of it, anything.
I dont think anyone can outshine Henry Cavill as SupermanIs it me or does the new Superman movie look a bit corny?
I think that's intentional to separate it from the last Superman efforts. Is it me or does the new Superman movie look a bit corny?
I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. I’ve read through the books several times myself and then with each of my 2 kids. The audiobooks also get plenty of love. My daughter and I still listen to them on our climbing road trips. I can’t lie my favorite character is Harry. I’d rather highlight Dobby as a favorite though. His growth as a character is immense after his introduction in book 2. His loyalty and friendship to Harry Potter is unwavering. He’s hilarious. He is also extremely powerful. He’s able to save Harry and all the captives in the Malfoy dungeon. It unfortunately leads to his death which is one of the saddest scenes in the books. S.P.E.W. for life!I won’t draw it out anymore @Whiskeyjack

My favorite character when I was younger while first reading was Sirius Black. Weird, looking back, because he’s only in three (four, with the super brief appearance in the last) books, but his character made such an impression on me. I had such high hopes for Harry and I remember holding out so much hope that he didn’t really die, because wtf?! He could come back out of that damn curtain!
Movie version, my favorite is Professor Snape.

I very much did not like that fucker in the books, but the way Alan Rickman played him brought so much to it that I didn’t see as a child.
My brother quotes Dobby all the time, for everything! And I cried so much, book and movie, when that scene happenedI’m a huge Harry Potter fan. It sounds fun! But either YouTube or Lit said I couldn’t watchPlanning big events stoned is a brilliant idea! What could go wrong ?!?!?
Anyway I love game shows so much.
Speaking of high, this one isn’t my favorite as a game show but man we used to watch this high as fuck in college while the two Spanish speakers in our group tried to explain why they were pushing that ladies face into the glass or why this woman was tied to the bed or whatever crazy ass thing they were doing. Oh the casual crazy sexism! The grand game of the Goose.
The only phrase I knew was Muy Peligroso! Which came up a lot!
Man I loved America Gladiators! I remember an early contestant was Billy Wirth who’d been in Lost Boys and I was very confused if the show was scripted or notGot a little high yesterday with bestie before wedding planning and we started watching this awesome, classic game show!
This was one of my favorites growing up! Listening to the legends and thinking I could totally get through those challenges!
After talking to a friend about it, he suggested I make it a prompt. So, what was your favorite game show as a kid…or even currently, of all time?
I also loved American Gladiators!
And when I lived in Japan we watched Most Extreme Challenge

I’d never heard of it till yesterday, but one that made me post this promptAs a kid, there was no better game show than Double Dare.
What kid in the early 90s didn't dream about appearing on the show?
