A few years back, my daughter was going through hell.... numerous trips to the ER where she was treated like a junkie looking for a fix, minimum of 8hrs of every day heaving.... I had to make pads for the sides of the trash can because her poor hands were bruised up from leaning over it all day...
Root cause, bad drug interaction from prescribed medication... IOW, the Drs were killing her.

Talk about a helpless feeling for a dad...

I can relate,reactions do that and also my periods were like that for many years, I lost 15lbs a month and then spend the remaining 3 weeks of the month trying to get back.
I used have really long hair then and my dad would hold my hair back
I’m sorry she had to go through that.

I’m terrified of those during high heat. Last time me and a ton of meds had to find a cool place to go, mainly my meds which are already packed in cooler bags.

Was ticking down the last hour of that 4-hr fridge food window.
Very lucky I don't have any meds that rely on refrigeration. That would be very scary!
🤞 no more outages... especially during the heat wave!
Night all... will try to catch up tomorrow - once I get everything plugged in again.

Trying to get my fluids up without going to an er or infusion center so I thought that rice ramen might be good since things aren’t staying in and/or down that well even with zofran.
Since I only want to use the kettle and microwave because it’s too hot. I tried some rice vermicelli and it was awful so the threw the noodles out and drank the broth. Next I tried some pad Thai noodles in broth with a bit of soy sauce. The noodles were great, the broth seems salty but that could be from being dehydrated.
I added a nectarine and have now gone back to drinking the rehydration fluid. Everything is staying in and down so far which is great as it’s mid 90s out (35) and I’m not leaving my air conditioning

I've heard good things about Skratch Labs but all those electrolyte drinks/powders tend to have ingredients I don't tolerate.

Ginger also seemed to help with nausea as well as lemon. Please stay hydrated.

The sad thing about aging is we have the knowledge but our bodies are not as willing. I used to do my own electrical but developed essential tremors. I had to give up electrical and other fine motor activities.

Sorry to have missed your b-day. Happy Birthday. I did manage to remember a friend of mine whose birthday was yesterday. But I've known her longer than I've known you, so there's that.


Still no word on Frankenmotor. I check a couple of times a week.
