I always didn't want anything around me that reminded me of a past, unhealthy relationship/partner - get rid of it and fill your life with new, pleasant memories

when i ended my last relationship i went to NY for week , i told her take anything you want, i wont be there so i dont see you , all she did was take my dogs ashes..😔

Is there a mutual friend that would be happy to help get them to him?

Maybe I'm strange, but I refuse to even let my ex come to my house to pick up tge kids. I'd meet in town, but my new place was mine. I didn't want memories of him there.

Sadly it’s a holiday and everyone has plans. I have everything right by the door so he won’t need to come in more than a couple steps. I’m keeping it as short as possible and completely cutting him off from the main house—my parents don’t want to see him at all.

.... Or, you could be on the phone.. signalling to him, that everything is right there, and that you are busy so he should just take his stuff and leave immediately.

..... I can be very loud on the phone. 😎
 
It’s over. It was fine. He felt the need to comment on each gun…when I bought it for him and why. Tried to talk to me about the dogs. Tried to hug me goodbye but I dodged him and opened the door and said bye.

It was odd seeing him but I have no reason to see him again so I’m good.
 
Got divorced 2nd time last year and have had a difficult time processing it so apologize for my approach going 'sideways'
