Thanks for the update - nice to hear what folks have going on. Lovely to hear mom's 90th went well.

My mom broke her hip yesterday and is having surgery today.

My mom took a few tumbles in later years. Not easy being on that side of things. It's supposed to be little kids and skinned knees... not aging parents and broken bones.

It's nice that it now comes and goes with barely a murmur

Fortunately, two of my brothers live nearby and are at the hospital with her.

When men outnumber women it gives the women a lot of potential choices. My guess is you are probably going to run into a fair bit of the sort of stuff you describe here. If are looking for something more serious than just some flirty entertainment, it may take a lot of time to meet those people. Don't forget, for many here that on line flirting may be all they're looking for.

My advice is to just accept this for what it is, and enjoy it anyway. You can be aware of the potential outcomes, and choose not worry if things don't work out.

Yes, I think sone people just get scared, but there are many married people monogamous relationship who decide that online flirting and cyber sex isn’t cheating and fantasize taking that to real like and freak themselves out and freak themselves out. And some just aren’t who they say they are. So yes, we hear about this a lot and the posters defend them, but it’s the exact same thing over and over. I choose to think that most are just messed up and not intentional players.

I just looked in pigeon forge and durrounding areas... 2500 to 3500 for a week... sat to sat.... we may need to do shorter.. depends on how people feel... but split up won't break the bank especially for those who will need to fly out...

I slept like a baby... for about 2½ hours.

That's tough, I know!
In my youth, I did factory work on a "3rd, 2nd, 1st" rotating schedule...
everyone hated graveyard, I hated rotating, so I took advantage of it and offered to stay on graveyard full time, freeing two others to avoid it.
Management jumped on it...

Rotating shifts are the WORST! They totally fuck up your circadian rhythms. Smart management to jump on you... it!

Management at my shift job was clueless. Drowning in turnover and couldn't understand why.
I tried to clue them in but either they were truly dumb or they just didn't want to hear it

The biggest issue? Several positions required a degree... the gas station up the street was hiring for a cashier... at almost $1 more per hour.
