I organised my home office over the weekend and got the 'unit' out of the garage and in to my room.

Air con? Was thinking of getting one like that as cheaper than full installation.

It's okay, but be prepared for the noise.

We have two units and (one in master bedroom) both are as loud as music playing or car outside the window revving up. I can't go to bed with it on (she can!)

One of my mates has full installation and it's so much better than these units, but yeah price is a factor.

I checked the temp and saw it's hotter here in the Mojave Desert. Then, I looked again and saw the humidity. Yikes!
