California Senator interrupts Homeland Security Secretary press conference

Security did exactly what they were trained to do under the circumstances. Padilla obviously suffers from "Shit For Brains" syndrome.
You worship a clown who lost over $100 billion supporting a felon which the clown now deeply regrets, shit for brains.

I guess it doesn't bother anyone the trump thinks the military can arrest lawful protesters.

He has every right to question the Secretary. And as a Senator, who was known to be on the premises, your insinuation that he was an unknown is laughable. He was meeting with a general next door. Noem knew he was there.

If she was in danger, standing there without any SS on her was a strange choice.

He should've been escorted out at worst.

But sure..

Angry unknown Latino lunging violently at the Secretary.

That'll play well

Oh I absolutely KNOW they will. That's not the question. THE question is whether they'll do it when the sitting Senator dint do nuffin' like is being claimed by many.
Well, they (democrats) did actually want to cuff Trump and actually took a mug shot. Then the Mar-O-Lago incident. But poor democrats are always victims.

He was not carrying anything that would have identified him as a senator and did not even say who he was until he was being restrained. The SS agents did not recognize him. They did their jobs in a professional manner.
He's a senator. There are only a hundred of them and the Secret Service (word to the wise: don't abbreviate that!) agents see them all regularly in the course of their duties. Besides, he did identify himself.

You're an idiot. He got exactly what he deserved.

Be honest with yourself here: if it were a Republican senator at a Biden press conference, would you feel the same? You may think so, but I sincerely doubt anyone else here believes that.

Republicans don’t act that way.
Good Lord, you really are brainwashed.
1. Joe Wilson yelling "YOU LIE" at Obama
2. MTG and Boebert heckling Biden at the SOTU
3. "Bye Bye Marjorie!" (Google it if you don't know)

And that's just off the top of my head.

Generally they act a whole lot worse, and you know it.
Eh, he probably doesn't. He has all the markings of a Fox News addict, and of course they aren't going to report on bad behavior by Republicans (at best, they would "accidentally" refer to the transgressor as a Democrat).

Sniff, sniff.
Take that breath in deep, America.
That’s the pungent smell of fascism shitting on democracy entering your lungs.

“There’s no recording allowed here,” as the DHS secretary holds an invited press Q&A a few feet away. 💩

Yup. Now show us where any of them aggressively charged the speaker they were heckling.

Because THAT is where the problem is. Your boy broke the law and assaulted a government official. That he's a sitting US Senator only makes it WORSE because he's supposed to act with the decorum befitting a US Congressman at all times. And he did not.

You two should take that routine on tour.

A whole lotta supposition here on your part. Nevermind that 90% of your "legal analysis" :poop: depends on you stretching the truth - the clip here contradicts you. It is the only angled clip that I have been able to find to see, and I assume you as well, and it starts with an agent already holding Senator Padilla. Your claim of him charging aggressively is at best oblivious or an outright lie (guess which one I'm going with for now?) unless you can provide us with another angle.
Your boy broke the law and assaulted a government official.
What law did he break? The statement from the FBI is simply he was handcuffed and detained. Was he charged with anything because you're here claiming assault. Assaulting a government official seems pretty serious and it would seem rather foolish for the FBI to then release Senator Padilla to have what they themselves indicated was a 15 minute sit down with noem where he could possibly assault the secretary again, no?

Look, I said all this rather nicely, but everyone would be much better off in tense times as these if your stupid, lying ass would just shut the fuck up.

This only going to get ugly when she gets back to another congressional hearing.

What struck me about the takedown was how the agent blocked the individual filming the Senator being taken down and handcuffed, an attempt to show what transpired clearly.

Ahhhhh, correct me if I misunderstand, but you're saying is that while engaging in detaining and then taking down a sitting senator and placing a knee to his back while handcuffs were drawn and applied, the FBI agent then tried to obstruct the view and recording of the whole event?
Is the FBI not America's top law enforcement authority? Tell me, sir, if you were on a jury in today's world and a cop or his office failed to provide you as a juror with the necessary video, claimed it no longer existed, or seemed to obstruct the video recording at a key moment - how would you feel? How would you rule?

I honestly don't think Senator Padilla will press charges, though it seems from the video that I have seen that he has a strong 1A argument.
But he should because there are officials throughout the US doing the exact same thing to individuals both undocumented and citizens who do not have the benefit of a tape to show the over reach and trouncing of civil liberties that Senator Padilla rather briefly experienced.

Quite a scene today at DHS Secretary Noem’s press conference. CA Senator Padilla barged into the room as she was speaking and began shouting at her. He then resisted security officers as they removed him from the room and calmly restrained him with handcuffs. Governor Newsom and Senate Minority Leader Schumer are actually defending the senator’s behavior and claim he’s a victim of mistreatment by the security officers. Apparently Kamala Harris and other Democrats are jumping into their party’s race to the bottom.

Political Theater that shows just how impotent the Dumbacrats are.

How did you come to the conclusion that dems are impotent?
They have no plan to.improve imigration. All they do is criticize Trump. They don't even have a leader. Hakim Jeffries is a joke and I'd rather see Schumer's cousin Amy be in charge.
