There are lots of brown people serving in the Army. Say one soldier's uncle was swept up in an ICE raid and wrongly deported to El Salvador. Not everyone in the Army is MAGA. It only takes one solider with a grudge.Why would the army assinated him? What do you know?

IMO this military parade is going to go down as one of the most depressing day in the history of American democracy. Putting aside this being a copycat of dictatorship, the destruction of property, and the placating of a child’s ego. It’s the fact that this Vietnam draft dogger, man who demeaned military service, desecrator of burial grounds now forces them to lick his boots.
Even more disgusting & disgraceful, is the fact that a significant number of service members would lick that corrupt orange traitor’s loafers (that simp doesn’t wear “boots”) willingly / slavishly.

So, I read through this entire circlejerk of a thread and the only reason anyone gave for not wanting a military parade is cost.
It’s not a military parade. It’s a Trump birthday parade. His narcissistic behavior is the only reason anyone needs to oppose the parade.
Besides, full military parades with armored combat vehicles aren’t an American tradition. They are an authoritarian thing, which is why you support Trump’s birthday parade.
