Fascism is based on Palingenetic ultranationalistic populism.

Same thing as if police or no police because the police only show up afterwards and won't get my money back so I'd head to nearest hospital to get stitched up and think about whether to move on with my life or think about revenge though the criminal justice system or otherwise what would you do...?

More profitable for big business for sure. UK was de-industrialized by EU membership as manufacturing companies closed plants in the UK because manufacturing in Eastern Europe was far cheaper and there were no trade barriers to stop them selling the end product back into the UK market.

And now every city centre in the UK looks the same - Starbucks, Costa, Five Guys, Pizza Express, ... independent outlets though are about as rare as rocking-horse

If you want to worship at the altar of big business knock yourself out but don't expect it to improve your local community.
