I have been quiet as it’s been a sort of busy week. Had a colonoscopy screening which is not the best 24 hours of my life. All the usual concerns about it but fortunately all seems okay. Yesterday I took time out for me and went fishing to switch off. It’s another busy week ahead with my mums 90th birthday so a trip there Wednesday. In the meantime it’s jobs around the house and garden.

I had a ginormous polyp so have to have another in 3 years.... the prep was a thing of nightmares.... just the taste... revolting

Good morning MissK, G, Q and other early risers. The heat and ibuprofen helped and got a couple more hours of sleep.

Air quality was unhealthy yesterday and until noon today. The Canadian wildfires are having a significant effect in the Great Lakes State. I know it’s affecting so many of you as well.

I see my grandchildren today and help my granddaughter with learning to ride a bicycle.

Hot and muggy today. It’s time. The switch has been flipped. No more warm dry days. Spring has fled to up-yonder. Now to hunker down and sweat in the sauna for the next 4-5 months.

We were supposed to be working on moving the whole Conestoga wagon out west. Set up for retirement in the dry heat. Life had other plans. Oh well. Stick around a little longer.

Off to the farmers market, the local fish monger (finally going to find and fry up those soft-shells), and we get the whole day of granddaughter duty. Everyone have a great weekend!

I had 7 removed. . My three yr expired last Dec…I’m going to schedule next vacation…

You know I have personal connection to the Tigers. My dad’s cousin played for them in the 50s.

They were down for so long, it’s nice to see them winning. With free agency, who knows for how long they can sustain it.

I got one of those this month past, so it looks like I'll be Back East for one more year.

The way I see it - with every polyp I am beating cancer. Sure, the prep sucks. But then I get to give cancer the bird? Big win in my book. But then there's just so much cancer in my family history.

Life had other plans.
