I have chatted to a few from the UK, including the lovely lady I mentioned before, but she is too far to get to sadly (ain't life a stinker sometimes!)
I'm chatting to another right now, but while it's very flirty, she and I have really not much in common, plus she's actually going out and getting laid in the meantime. I'm not sure how I feel about that, ie it's her life and she should live it but it sort of leaves me feeling kinda left out. That sounds awful but its the truth. Dirty chat over PM's with someone actually out living their best life makes me feel a bit silly really.

So people on here are cool, but they and I are quite different ppl. Unfortunately in the real world I live in a very socially isolated and disconnected region. Covid, as with so many aspects and for so many ppl, has not helped.

It’s so sad you feel like that but I know how you feel. It’s why I am in Scotland. Got fed up of the busy south, stress people traffic and development. Fell in love with this place; thought stuff it and went home and sold up! You will get your time it’s just perhaps not yet. So in the meantime transatlantic hugs @Missk_2022

I have been quiet as it’s been a sort of busy week. Had a colonoscopy screening which is not the best 24 hours of my life. All the usual concerns about it but fortunately all seems okay. Yesterday I took time out for me and went fishing to switch off. It’s another busy week ahead with my mums 90th birthday so a trip there Wednesday. In the meantime it’s jobs around the house and garden.

Good morning MissK, G, Q and other early risers. The heat and ibuprofen helped and got a couple more hours of sleep.

Air quality was unhealthy yesterday and until noon today. The Canadian wildfires are having a significant effect in the Great Lakes State. I know it’s affecting so many of you as well.

I see my grandchildren today and help my granddaughter with learning to ride a bicycle.

I had a vacation and came back to the sane bullshit I had before I left.... worse at work.... I am at the end of my fucking rope

Hot and muggy today. It’s time. The switch has been flipped. No more warm dry days. Spring has fled to up-yonder. Now to hunker down and sweat in the sauna for the next 4-5 months.

We were supposed to be working on moving the whole Conestoga wagon out west. Set up for retirement in the dry heat. Life had other plans. Oh well. Stick around a little longer.

Off to the farmers market, the local fish monger (finally going to find and fry up those soft-shells), and we get the whole day of granddaughter duty. Everyone have a great weekend!

The way I see it - with every polyp I am beating cancer. Sure, the prep sucks. But then I get to give cancer the bird? Big win in my book. But then there's just so much cancer in my family history.

Life had other plans.

I've been on the 1 year plan before. I call it the FUC Plan. F U Cancer
