MUSK GOES ROGUE! Denounces Trump Budget Buster Reconciliation as an "Abomination"

IMHO there's nothing to be gained from sending humans into space. The last Americans on the moon were so bored they ended up playing golf. There's nothing there (certainly nothing that can't be done better by a robot), and nothing to do. The same with Mars, but multiplied by several trillion.

It's pure willy-waving so that the greatest narcissist pedophile felon in US history can claim a place in the history books.
Good thing you are no scientist then. Or the other way round, if you don't understand you can't be one.
And just for your interest: the astronauts on the moon weren't scientists either. Big mistake. These air force guys were just bleeding pilots. No wonder they had no idea what to do and wasting time raising, and probably saluting by all means!, a totally useless flag.

I would say the hard data collected on the effects of space on the human body, etc, has great value.

Some day technology (likely advanced exponentially by AI) will allow for humans to truly become a space-faring species, and every bit of data collected now will contribute to that happening.

I do believe “Starship to Mars” is a fools (narcissists) errand, but it does serve to inspire; so not a total waste. The Earth’s moon seems far more practical for learning the ropes and serving as a gateway to space travel (IF we’re determined to pursue the grail of colonizing other moons & planets and mining asteroids, etc.)

👍

All that will be better done by robots.

The time factor alone makes human intergalactic travel impossible and the fantasy is the domain of a 1970s science fiction.

'Where no man has gone before'. // meets people wherever they go.

Robots can’t demonstrate / record the effects of space and space travel on the human body & psyche.

Yes. It WOULD require a leap in technology, but AI is in its infancy, and solutions to space travel MAY exist.

We call them robots, but they are not robots. Not in the meaning of the word. They are automats like dishwashers and waking machines.
Humans are better if decisions are required. Decisions like "I want to go to that hill and the best way is to go on the right side of that stone."

The irony is that he got these government contracts under the Dems. He's not that bright, this goofy bit the same hand that fed him and for what? Literally all had to do was shut the fuck up and promote the business.

Now investors who were hoping that the government contracts would pump the stock might dip. His Tesla brand is a mess now. Not enough people buy the cars to justify its high market cap. Europe and Asia are focusing on domestic industry with the Euro and Asian counterparts easily out selling Tesla vehicles. They wont do contracts with him because they don't trust him. He's on his own here but then again, we live in the age of mass stupidity.
The most delicious thing is that since this spat started Tesla stock has dropped approximately $100 including $47.35 yesterday.

Put two preening narcissists into a room and you expect them to tolerate each other's presence..? I mean: seriously..?
It did work for a while.
OK, I shouldn't have sent the e-mail to 47.

"Oh Elon, you great fucker,
You really have the fattest cock in the world, I'll never forget the four hours of continuous fucking!"

And to Elon
"Oh Donald, you great fucker,
You really have the fattest cock in the world, I'll never forget the four hours of continuous fucking!"

Since then, the friendship has gone downhill.

Guess he regrets all that Nazi saluting now.

This whole act is to try to win back the demographic that used to buy his cars. Hopefully they are all smart enough to see through this ruse.

Like many of the people who have churned out of Trump’s orbit, Elon was useful to Trump until he wasn’t.

Now he’s paying a big price. He now needs to turn his attention to fighting off institutional investors and board members.

He's still useful

Egos are clashing.

You're defending your God guy. Not a good look for you
He was very useful to Trump during the campaign. Poured millions of dollars into it and helped generate turnout. He was useful in the early days of DOGE until it became increasingly apparent that he over promised, under delivered, and pissed off a lot of people along the way.

He certainly doesn’t look useful to Trump anymore. What makes you think he still is?

Your dismissal of him is about your loyalty, not about anything else

Lol

Why would someone change 180° in a week?

Are you that fucking brainwashed?

You didn’t answer my question. Musk blasted the most significant piece of legislation to the president’s agenda. What in the world makes you think that makes him useful?

Trump only hires the best druggies.

He continues to take a wrecking ball to the Amerikan economy, and his cult followers continue to lap up his Kool Aid.

Mixed news from the mainstream media this morning:

First the "good" news, Trump has belatedly realized he done fucked up..

Trump races to fix a big mistake: DOGE fired too many people

Across the government, the administration is rehiring federal workers who were forced out or encouraged to resign.

Of course, for every bit of "good" news in Trumpland, there's also the bad...
Trump announced that OMB Chief Russel Vought would replace Elon as CEO of DOGE. There are possibly a dozen people more evil than Donald Trump in America....11 of them are in prison for life and the last guy is Russel Vought.

Vought is the Heritage Foundation goon that was the primary author of the infamous Project 2025. Trump showed his appreciation for the positions he was assigned to carry out as president by putting him in charge of the Federal Budget.
Some interesting facts about Vought:
  • Vought claims that legally required responses to Congressional Oversight Requests are "too burdensome for himself and staff" so going forward, he alone will decide which Congressional Oversight Requests merit a reply from the Executive Branch. "Fuck that Constitution and fuck 'checks and balances!"
  • Vought said his stated aim as a government employee was to make each and every Federal employee loathe coming into work each day.
  • Vought half-assed the most recent attempt at providing a budget to Congress, instead giving Congress an "executive summary" of a Budget that just happens to leave out any notice of the draconian Medicaid budget cuts.
  • Vought got called before Congress to explain his belief that "parts of the Constitution he disagrees with are Unconstitutional, period". As you can expect, it did not go well for Vought. Representative Rosa DeLauro ripped Vought to shred (fireworks start around 2:04 below)

Finally here's a nasty little clip of Musk's Paypal Mafia Tech Bro Peter Thiel (the primary ventriloquist for the JD Vance meat-puppet) admitting that America will NEVER have the votes necessary to enact their shitty policies, so maybe it's time to replace Democracy with Technocracy, where Tech Bros reserve the last word on everything to themselves (witness the destruction caused by "Musk the Bull in the Twitter China Shop")

Pure evil.

Laz will be extremely upset, it won’t be able to call Musk Mr. president anymore. :nana:

Nothing new. He and most other left wingers have been upset since November. lol.

Just a reminder that your hero is an even bigger piece of shit than any of you
