Alright guys, so I’m here for “mature” writing as well. Probably very mature. My basic story premise/ setting is partially based off of real life.
And it takes some explaining so hang in there for a minute

Basically a girl I used to know in middle school is now an escort/sugar baby. I follow her on instagram, but her posts/stories are all… specifically designed to ignore that she’s doing the above. But sometimes you’ll see her in Dubai… or France with some 60 year old guy wakeboarding behind his yacht, or Italy, or whatever… in Japan at some stupidly rich Japanese guys dinner… etc.

Anyways, I’ve always wanted to write a story inspired by that. Take some of those posts and create a narrative “spinning off” from the settings and possible situations she actually was in to create a story of all the things we might not be seeing. Some of it will be VERY nsfw… some of it not. Now I want to be clear- we will change some stuff and her name to make sure that that’s an issue.

Am I crazy? It’s in my head ,and I think there’s something cool here.

It's a good idea. I'd focus on the conflict of what she is doing, and who she's with, in order to live the lifestyle she wants but perhaps is not fulfilled sexually or emotionally. She she wants both, but has yet to find it.

Now THAT sounds like an interesting story. Why aren't. you that girl in THIS live? What moment in time might have led you down the other path into another life? Do you think about and long for elements of that other life? Do you sometimes fantasize about that other life?

It has potential to go as many different directions as you think.

It would pay for you to do an Internet search, as I'm sure A&E did quite a documentary on escorts around 2008-2015, and it was quite the reveal. You have the guys that will pay for an escort strictly to listen to their problems and these women end up being very good counselors. Of course there are tons that are just "arm candy" to the rich guys that can pay (the guy paying stipulates what he wants); the real twist is that it really flips the dynamic because it's more the woman in charge, since she can say "no" at any time if the "date" goes awry and the high-end ones I speak of are exceptionally well educated (some with Masters and Doctorates). Even the organizational hierarchy of the escort business can lend to the more sought-after ladies really having tons more control (and tons more back up) from their prospective companies.

Just make sure that you remember to explain or produce sufficient background so readers know enough about where YOU are coming from because while you know where you want to go, readers don't (and few will analyze according to the story structure)--and they can't read your mind in terms of what your end product could be. Anything you write about is fair game to talk about, so if you include it, at least sufficiently explain it; if you don't that could cause problems down the road and readers would be right to point it out. I've read bunches of stories that fail on fulfilling the premise (or even sticking to it sometimes) or that provide evidence the story will explore theme x but it gets dropped 1/4 or 1/2 way through and it reads as very incomplete. Keep those things in mind and you have the chance to do it well.

I like the idea of there being a struggle between the (real & imagined) societal pressures of success. Maybe her family is wealthy and was calling her a fuckup because she failed high school. Maybe her family are poor fuckups, and in her head nothing is worse than being that

Many times people that didn't have tons of education succeeded because 1) they persisted; 2) discovered resourcefulness they never knew they had; 3) pushed ahead because they wanted more for themselves.

Although it applies directly (partly) you might some parallels with Brigitte Bardot: she hated her sister and from what I remember was initially passed over by the French...she persisted and ended up being far more popular although I forget the one thing she did differently to succeed.

I think what could be interesting is writing large contrasts. From high end cliënts that mostly want eye-candy, spoil her and want love and affection in the bedroom. To cliënts with fetishes like golden showers or pet-play.

But also scenario's where she feels like shit afterwards. Maybe she is hired for a high end party. Basically be there and be beautifull, at the end a small group stays behind and she and a few other high end escorts have sex with this group. During the party a rich succesfull man shows interest in her and gives her his number, not realizing she is one of the hired escorts. She actually likes the man as well and is really happy she got his number. However turns out this man is one of the men that stays behind. She gets humiliated after the party as she gets gangbanged and pissed on together with the other escorts. Afterwards the man walks up to her and tells her to throw away his number.

This could crush her and show how the judgement of the business can be harsh as well.

On the flip side, show how she earns a lot of money and can afford a lot more luxury than her friends. Having her splurge sometimes and take her friends on amazing vacations where she enjoys life outside of her work.

The difficulties with dating could also be a subject to show in the story.

I think it's a really interesting and wide subject.

This is another face I’m really interested in exploring - yeah. Having a belly full of piss probably sucks. But having a belly full of piss and then flying back home to buy your mom the nicest champagne at the nicest restaurant in town when you go out together? Maybe it evens out.

What if she's a high end escort but also an informant for a shadowy spy agency. Not sure what agency though. Her handler assures her they're the good guys. Of course when they meet up occasionally to exchange information he requires her to "perform" for him too. He says it's to ensure her loyalty. She stumbles on something big but doesn't realize it until she mentions it in an exchange. Her handler tries unsuccessfully to hide his sudden interest in what she is saying. 'The pillars of Hercules? He used those exact words? Are you sure?'

I'll have to check it out again, but the ultra-popular Colombian series "Sin tetas no hay paraíso" comes close to this, where cartel/drug higher-ups contract with pretty girls to offer them whatever they want to buy in clothes, cosmetic surgery (breast enhancement and hence the title [Without Tits There's No Paradise]), cell phones, etc. They serve to go out to fancy parties, service the guys and otherwise build up their egos. They're treated like queens although there's even murder at times (covered up of course). In one case, there's a girl (Catalina) that she's really not much smarter than a box of rocks and she's poor. Her mother wants a better life for her daughter and son, but can't really provide it. Catalina keeps them in the dark and lies about it, although her brother starts figuring it out, if she's a "prepago" (prepaid or paid for in advance) or not. So in this case, her group of girls she hangs with direct her behaviors and the mom's clueless.

Very similar to what I have in mind, except the mom is complicit and even an accomplice in it. The former is close to the same, but basically this girl and her mother are on the run from the Colombian cartel etc, like gruesome terrible death imminent… and are “saved” by this guy but the trade off is the daughter and mom will have to “serve” him in Mexico for the rest of their lives

And yes. To those just reading this, the story almost completely changed behind the scenes and we’re talking about a story that runs in many ways adjacent to the one I originally mentioned but with similar themes. Sorry.

I've been thinking of a dramatisation of a male escort for some time. It is a truly interesting world to roll into, especially as a man. The ties between the escorts, the ties to their handlers (is that the right word?) and the bizarre stuff they experience.

People trying to take revenge by hiring an escort, but also the other side where an escort can fancy someone outside of work and it being difficult. Whether because its 'real' or because it is quite difficult to tell a potential partner you regularly fuck someone's brains out or being fucked your brains out for a loooot of money can be a difficult thing at times.
