just so fucking blatant

Except Hunter got a pardon and Trump didn't.

Chew on that for a moment and realize the difference that you'd put only 1 of them in jail while letting the other go free.

And then consider the underlying offenses - one multiple gun felonies and multi-million dollar tax evasion; the other bookkeeping entries.
i said hunter should have to face penalties didnt I?

Meanwhile, in your book Trump is a "34 times convicted felon" even though his case is on appeal because of inconsistencies and how Letticia James handled the case.

Again, we must be talking a (D)ifferent kind of goose.
you actually believe he is innocent of all 34 (or more) felonies?

Stop trying to deflect.

Why do you support a pardon for a criminal who stole $7.5 million in payroll taxes?
Not trying to deflect. Where was your pissing and moaning when other presidents have given questionable pardons? Yeah…you didn’t give a shit. Noted. I haven’t even gotten to the Dalai Bama (Peace be upon his anointed name)…

I believe that it's hypocritical to give Hunter a pass after being convicted and pardoned while vilifying Trump during his appeals.
3rd time's a charm.
I said on post#7 that "...the gun charges are kind of meh. The tax charges he should have had to face the penalties for."

end of story

Bookkeeping entries? You really are a fool, no mistake.

Trump didn't need a pardon because he was elected President.

Bookkeeping entries: It's funny how you fudged that statement, trying to make it seem like a little innocuous white-collar error. A lawyer sleight of hand attempt, but I'm not buying that at all out here.

Both are free, by the way... neither of them went to jail, did they?

Had Trumpian politics not reared its ugly head over Hunter Biden's gun, drug, and tax matters, his father would not have pardoned him. Trump beat the drum of 'I'm your retribution' and threatened to use the DOJ as a weapon. In light of that threatening action by the incoming President, Biden acted to thwart the obvious 'lawfare' that would have ensued under the felon in this matter. That's pretty evident from the way the felon is currently being used by the DOJ and his ham-handed treatment of Harvard: politics of everything else, regardless of legalities.

Those bookkeeping errors were compounded by other stacks of cases hanging over the felon's head, lest you forget that they were made to go away when the felon took office: the J6 case, Georgia's case, the top secret documents case down in Mar-a-Lago, etc. He isn't a sweet-smelling rose behind a desk with quill and ledger, having just a few digits off his bookkeeping, is he? [That's rhetorical. No need to respond.]

Judge Merchan sentenced Trump to an unconditional discharge, meaning no further penalties, fines, or jail time, despite the felony convictions.

Seems like he 'got off' on this case without much harm being done to his ego. Teflon Don struck again.

Meanwhile Hunter GOT A PARDON, after pleading GUILTY, and a pass on the tax evasion. He's an ADMITTED FELON.

Yet Trump, who is still in the appeals process, and who could be completely exonerated, gets vilified.

You have a consistency problem with your narrative. One is an admitted felon, the other maintains his innocence and could have his convictions overturned. You're good with the one being let off scott free (while saying he shouldn't have been) but also good with someone who claims innocence being locked up. Because Trump, not because you're "fair" or want to see the law upheld.

Why do you support a pardon for a criminal who stole $7.5 million in payroll taxes?

Again, why do you object to getting non violent offenders off the public purse, butters?

It would leave more federal money to subsidize unemployed sex trafficked mail order brides, for example.

Lol

I don't. They broke the law, they did time. They're done. It's how it's supposed to work.

What punishment do you propose for these thieves?

Freedom of Speech.

I can change, edit, delete, modify, re-arrange or change where my comments appear in a thread’s order whenever I fucking feel like it.

Freedom of Expression.

Thanks to You and Butters and all the other versions of You expressing Yourself under Your various different names…for paying such close attention to everything I say and do here.

Your ongoing little hitler actions are a great source of amusement to me. I enjoy laughing at you.

:)
Like Biden's staff seeing Trump as a "threat to democracy," thought nothing of taking undemocratic actions to keep him out of office, I'm sure those acolytes of his here have no qualms about using the same undemocratic tactics on you and others they detest. :D

So, your argument is that nonviolent criminals should not be punished. That’s brilliant. You’re a stable genius. 😆

And your obsession with butters has become truly psychotic. Seek help. 👍

The Trump administration pretends to be fighting fraud and abuse, but pardoned a criminal who stole $7.5 million in payroll taxes tax that belonged to the government.

The criminal didn’t do time. That’s not how it’s supposed to work.

The punishment I propose is simply what the court ordered. 👍
