Younger women, older men

I've had many younger women come on to me...they see me as a sexy, intelligent, experienced professor sort. When they're women in classes that I teach I have kept an absolute rule about that; teacher-student stuff is off limits due to the unfair power dynamic (just as employer-employee relationships are imbalanced). YES, they're the stuff of countless fictional scenarios that many of us enjoy, but I won't take advantage of the power in real life. There are myriad young women whom I mentor at work, from their student internships to being newly-licensed professionals. The vast majority see me as rather a father figure, the experienced older guy who has a vast amount of life experience, knowledge, and wisdom. They use me often as a resource, and I'm happy to be there for them. When they come to me about personal problems, I stay as professional and appropriate as possible, and they know that they can be vulnerable around me and I won't take advantage of them. For me, one of the most attractive characteristics in women is confidence. In my experience it tends to develop over decades; I have met very few really confident young women.

Having said all that, there are certainly some who are mature young women, quite aware of exactly who they are and what they're doing, with whom I enjoy flirtation. As I avoid personal relationships at work (except as noted in my intro, where my wife and I played with select others from our workplace), it remains to be seen whether I will find myself playing Humbert Humbert on the stage of life....

Would I be getting looked at ? Smiles
Love when i know im being looked at

Of course you would be getting looked at Peach, you are a lovely young woman. The question is what would you do if after we chatted for awhile at the hotel bar and got to know each other and flirted for awhile would you have the courage to do what you want to do? After I put my hand on your thigh and whisper in your ear "Well, this has been fun gettng to know you Peach, but I am heading up to my room. Is our evening over, or would you care to join me?"
