Cock Talk

And the one liners - that’s what I don’t like as much. It’s why I’m better at email still than texting people, unless there’s a specific reason I’m texting.

Sometimes the one liners are fun for a little bit. But what happens is that it just takes over and the lowest common denominator wins the war. It’s like the kudzu of posting. I generally value thoughtful responses. I’m more a blog man than a Tik Tok kind of guy.

Someone signed up under your name, Enny. Or has laid claim to it…

I’m glad I’m not losing my memory, but that’s also a bit disturbing if @Endless_Night didn’t intentionally create an account. I wonder if it’s like my experience with TikTok where it created an account when I thought I was just watching a video or looking at the sign up page?

Exactly. I am super visual and I enjoyed finding just the right pic for this thread and it’s topics. But now that’s over. Just one more kick in the dick from the internet.
I think you've nailed it for me. This ban harms threads like yours where pictures are used - God forbid - to illustrate a point or accompany a discussion. It's like we're back in 1991 with Word 5.1, dreaming of the coming of ClipArt.

Okay, I’m going to try to be positive—this isn’t going to be easy.

(Pretend there is a pic of a pulsing cock and balls spewing cum all over the lens because I can’t post that)

How does this new pic policy affect your interest in being on Lit?
Not much. I'm just a bit uppset that people puts limits on here because they have to hide what they are doing. My opinion is simple! If yo have to hide what you are doing, you should probably not do it!
What solutions do you have that could find a middle ground to make this work?
Se my answer above.
Do you have a Doomsday plan for when Lit collapses and all your favorite people disperse?
No. I'll approach that problem when it arrives.
How do you share erotic imagery with your “friends” 😉, if it’s Lit, what’s your new plan?
In posts and sometimes in pm.
What pic thread will you mourn more than any other?
I can't pick one.
Are you flexible enough to go through the exhausting and cum(get it?)bersome process of clicking links?
I already do so when necessary.
Are you prepared to bombard the Lit God’s with complaints to reinstate the normal pic policy?
No.

This should be illegal. 😠

I will check, but I never gave my email or name when I clicked on the link.

I just found out that Manu is a woman.
WHAT?!

This is too many shocks before coffee.

I find it a little too fast at the moment and do hope that it will slow and discussions will become more in-depth
It’s possible but I think less likely. It’s really oriented toward chat room style vs in depth discussions. I’m not a frequenter of the lit chat rooms but I imagine not much in depth discussion happens there.
Unless the forums disappear, I think they’ll still be a better place for that.

Users come and go.
I also think the energy that new posters bring to the boards is fun!

I do have some concerns about it.
I have some radical ideas on how to deal with it 🙈

The truth is, if safety isn’t prioritized over inclusivity, these kinds of communities end up drowning in thirsty, faceless accounts and bots pushing content.

Without some kind of vetting or gatekeeping, the vibe will dilute…

I’m not suggesting a Survivor method, but…

lol I’m joking… I’m joking…

But really, my honest prediction is someone is absolutely going to fuck it up for the rest of us, and we’ll all end up right back where we started, just with more trust issues 🤪

When I first joined Lit I was advised not to go to the chat rooms and I never have. I never really venture out of The Playground.

Kitty is setting up sections of the server for more deep discussion so I am hopeful that they will start to come. I don’t participate in them that much but I do like reading other people’s thoughts and opinions on topics. It gives me an insight into people and also to what is going on in the world outside of my own bubble.

I like the energy and the diversity that new users bring. They bring hope and refreshment

This sounds promising.

Me too.
I’m thinking we should do all this “Lit stuff” by mail.
Not e-mail, actual mail. Imagine having to wait 5-10 business days for a response?
Now that’s foreplay!
*pffft*

You'd forget the train of conversation in 2-3 business days. :p

Finally, something all the Daddies can get behind and maybe even comprehend 🤭

That’s hot though… like… I dunno… well, that gives me ideas, too.
There was an Elementary episode where it comes out that Sherlock keeps up and erotic letter correspondence with a university professor (woman) he has never met.

It does conjure imagery of a certain type of languorous concupiscent appeal.

Kitty has done such a good job setting this up and asking for input from users about what they would like to see. A job very well done and greatly appreciated.

Agreed. She did a great job.

I find it a little too fast at the moment and do hope that it will slow and discussions will become more in-depth. I think the newness of it all is exciting for some people and it is like a group of people all seeing each other for the first time in a long time and there is lots of “chatter”.

I do think that the newness could wear off and make it more useable. I’ve got to use this ignore feature that I was introduced to last night.

You could overnight the really hot stuff.
