Favorite is a hard word. But a nice juicy, crisp, tart, apple in peak season is pretty dang perfect. I’ve said before that it’s one of those things that I take a bite of and every time am like “why am I not eating these every damn day?!?!”

Raspberries. We had raspberry bushes at my old house when I was growing up and I used to go out when they were in season and just gorge myself silly. I'd come inside with scratched up arms from the brambles and raspberry juice all over my mouth. My mom said I looked like a homeless vampire urchin. There was plenty enough to share.

I hate to defend IP laws in any way shape or form, but I do feel like the overall reliability of honeycrisp has declined since they lost their trademark. But yes. A good one is the best!

I feel this way about blackberries!
