What’s your song?

Honestly, anything by The Beatles. It never ceases to amaze and thrill me I was alive then (too young to care about girls, love, yeah, yeah, yeah).

My older brother married a girl who day them, TWICE, at the Maple Leaf Gardens (1964 and 1965). I finally got to see Paul in my hometown a few years ago. Ringo never comes, but he performs nearby. I should go, no matter the difficulty. I've stood outside the Dakota and cried. Too old (and poor,!) to see Friar Park.

Piccadilly has been stuck in my head for a while now. I find this song captures the way you can be surrounded by people and yet feel lonely. "Please don't leave me in this lonely, lonely city...". I think it's beautiful.

Ugh!! I heard a snippet of a song at barter fair and I can’t get it out of my head and can’t find the name of it either.

This morning it was Low's cover "I'm on Fire" by Bruce Springsteen. It is sunny with clouds and a little chilly this morning and for some reason walking through wet grass brought it to mind.
