Mass Deportations Or: Let's Get This Party Started

The irony of all this is undoubtedly lost on you.

And exactly how was their presence in the US hurting you?
Dave is a lying idiot.

"Biden left the floodgates open" while he posts a tweet of a person being deported after being here for 35 years 🙄

Supreme Court allows Trump to revoke protected status for thousands of Venezuelans

Removing legal status from immigrants just so they can be deported to meet a quota is “winning”? You MAGA sheep used to say that only illegal immigrants were targeted for deportation, but obviously that’s changed.

New immigration policy: “Only fake refugees from South Africa can apply.”

They had been given Temporary Protective Status, granted for up to 18 months by DHS. Those grants had been renewed several times.

Exactly. They came here legally.

MAGA sheep used to pretend that only illegals would be deported. But MAGAs don’t bother to pretend that anymore.

It’s what they voted for. 👍

Miami MAGAs whining about deportations

A trio of Miami-area Republicans are pushing back against the administration as President Trump works to end programs protecting many of the region’s immigrant communities from deportation.

In a hearing with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem last week, Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla.) asked for “nuance” in plans for a wholesale rescission of Temporary Protected Status (TPS), something the administration has axed for both Venezuela and Haiti.

And why was that status assigned to them?

And please explain how that relates to South Afrikans who have been afforded those same rights? Perhaps Afghans who allowed our troops to not be killed as well

We offer you refugee status until a President hates you .....good luck 🤞

Do you know that for a fact, and can you document your source? It’s possible some of them came here legally, but according to the Migration Policy Institute there are quite a few Venezuelans in the US who are “unauthorized immigrants.”

Approximately 486,000 Venezuelans were unauthorized as of mid-2023, according to Migration Policy Institute (MPI) estimates. Venezuela ranked as the fifth largest origin country for unauthorized immigrants in the United States, accounting for 4 percent of all 13.7 million unauthorized immigrants.

The SCOTUS ruling is a significant win for the executive branch. The district court overreached and the authority for DHS to do it’s job has been restored, at least for now.

You're accidentally advocating for due process, jeenyus. 🤣

Venezuelans who came to the US legally have been deported and sent to jail in El Salvador in this case (as reported by the Cato Institute, which represents real conservatives unlike MAGA sheep):

This isn’t surprising because about half of all the Venezuelans who have immigrated over the past two years came legally as well—either as refugees, parolees, or visa holders. The proportion isn’t what matters the most: the astounding absolute numbers are. Dozens of legalimmigrants were stripped of their status and imprisoned in El Salvador.

As I said, MAGA sheep like you have switched from “only illegals will be deported” to “deport everyone, I don’t care if they’re legal or not”.

Cato is a Libertarian think tank. I’m a conservative Republican who shares their views on most but not all things.

The article you shared suggests that roughly 50 Venezuelans who were recently deported to El Salvador entered legally, 40 entered illegally, and 84 are unknown. The article says all were denied due process, an opinion subject to debate, but certainly true in the case of Mr. Garcia, the suspected gang member accused by his wife of domestic abuse and stopped by Tennessee Highway Patrol driving a van owned by a human trafficker.

ICE has made it clear that while criminals are prioritized, anyone in the US illegally is subject to deportation. As of mid 2023. nearly a half a million Venezuelans are unauthorized to be in the US. The SCOTUS ruling applies to an estimated 350,000 Venezuelans in the US under TEMPORARY protective status up to 18 months, subject to the discretion of DHS.

Regardless of whether you entered legally or illegally, if you’re not authorized to be in the US, you’re going home. SCOTUS recognized the legitimate authority of executive branch.

Thanks for affirming my statement. 👍 MAGA sheep like you have switched from “only illegals will be deported” to “deport everyone, I don’t care if they’re legal or not”.

The next step for the MAGA sheep will likely be: “I don’t care if they’re citizens, deport them.”

Babyboozer assumes everyone speaks drunkenese.

It seems that the usual suspects are unhappy with the SCOTUS ruling regarding the Venezuelans who have enjoyed the privilege of temporary status in the US and will soon be going home. Oh well.

Our DHS secretary doesn't understand habeas corpus.

That tells you all you need to know about why due process is important.

The “usual suspects” are pointing out that MAGA sheep are now fine with deporting people who came here legally. And not just deporting them but sending some to prison in El Salvador, even though they committed no crime.

Oh well.

Babyboozer struggles with his racism and trying to not look like a fucking idiot. He's losing on both fronts.

El Salvador apparently wasn’t bad enough, so detainees are now being sent to South Sudan.

The State Department categorizes South Sudan as “Level 4: Do Not Travel” due to crime, kidnapping, and armed conflict.

Even US government employees have been pulled out:

Due to the risks in the country, on March 08, 2025, the Department of State ordered the departure of non-emergency U.S. government employees from South Sudan.

The Trump administration loves this kind of authoritarian bullshit.

Noem and Miller increase the deportation quota to 3,000 per day.

Police quotas are always a recipe for trouble. Expect more citizens to be detained without cause and more tourists to be arrested without doing anything wrong. 👍

Miller's directive and tone had people leaving the meeting feeling their jobs could be in jeopardy if the new targets aren't reached, two of the sources said.

On a much more minor note, the article includes a mention of Noem and Corey Lewandowski. I wonder if she’s openly carrying on an affair with him again? MAGAs are all about family values.

Noem took a milder approach in pushing for more arrests, soliciting feedback from ICE leaders. Special government employee Corey Lewandowski, a former Trump campaign aide, also spoke.

Is “special government employee” code for male prostitute? 😆
