Children zip-tied at San Antonio immigration court in new crackdown



At least three migrant children were taken into custody and restrained with zip ties at the San Antonio Immigration Court, located at 800 Dolorosa Street, on Thursday, May 29, according to multiple sources.



The children were between the ages of 9 and 12.

A Russian dissident won asylum here, but ICE refuses to release him.

Two months ago, 25-year-old Ilia Chernov beat long odds and convinced an immigration judge to grant him political asylum in the U.S.

Normally, that finding would have been enough for Chernov to obtain legal status and live freely in the U.S. Chernov’s judge told him that he would soon be released.

But Immigration and Customs Enforcement has refused to free Chernov, stranding him in detention.

Wow. I was under when I said 35 million.

It was Yale, not Harvard. Extrapolating between the 2005 Bear Stearns Study and the 2018 Yale Study—which found that the illegal immigrant population was as high as 29 million in 2018 using a model which its authors admit was based on an “extremely conservative” model—it would seem reasonable to say that the illegal immigration population was at least 30 million by 2020—probably higher. Although the 30 million number is admittedly a rough guess, it’s a conservative guess based on these underlying studies from Bear Stearns and Yale that validate each other.

According to most estimates, there was an influx of nearly 11 million illegals during the four years of the Biden Administration - and the overall number is likely more than 40 million. So with 1200 odd days to go, Trump needs to be deporting 35,000 illegals a day. Every day. For the next 3.5 years. He is WAY under this. His deportations so far are mere token numbers.

You may laugh, but Trump is failing at both the things I voted for him on - downsizing Govt and deporting illegals - and he's gone insane on Ukraine and the trade wars.

I cancelled my GOP membership. And I may well sign up as a Democrat. Which I would never have believed possible six months ago. This is tough. I need more coffee.

No need to be a Democrat to have seen the light. I'm no Democrat, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I ever vote Republican.

It would be flatly impossible to deport more than they're deporting now.
 
We should be moving toward a world without borders. All of this takes us in exactly the wrong direction.

Trump has ordered ICE to focus on blue cities as retribution for not voting for him. His goal to incite violence.

Sane people can see that Trump is also attempting to deflect attention from his support for illegal immigrants working in hotels and on farms. The MAGA sheep are too gullible to notice. 😄
