🏡PLP's Bazaar of the Bizarre: A Study Hall for the Deviant and Delightful

The house just looked like a single story from the front, the rooms upstairs had slanted walls, so the stairs had to have a dormer above the landing to make room to walk. The roof above was flat & slightly tilted down. Not glamorous, but very functional!

I think there were probably good stories on both sides there. 🤭

All the links. But....

As this has no nudity..... will it work??

ETA
Nope certainly extentions aren't allowed??

Computer people?
I saw the lovely ladies so maybe at least for now we can give things pretty names. I don't know
Is it just tumblr links or from everywhere do you know?

Greetings.

If you don't mind my input: I took the liberty of checking that GIF with the broken link? It seems that Tumblr's gifs are now encoded into *.gifv format, which is a video. I reckon when copying and pasting the link for embedding, try deleting the v at the end of gifv and see if it works out and behaves as a normal/old GIF.

Images should not be affected, unless they are webp format.

Any gif I've uploaded today, using the picture tool, looks like it's uploading correctly, until I hit "Post Reply". Then it just posts as a web address 😥

All right. I am testing with the broken gif up there. Is it showing?

It works on the comment window whilst editing. The .gifv format is created by Imgur and to host images embedded in 3rd-party sites, the HTTP host of the forum has to be configured to not care who's asking, as in viewing request. So, the code must've been tweaked not to allow these formats.

ETA: Embbeded signature images seem not to be working as well, I just noted with my own. I reckon it is a forum-side choice.

Thank you so much for fiddling with it! 😘

Well kids,
School's back in session and the Grinch (aka admins) hate fun. All in all not a great hump day. I appreciate Lit is a word based forum and I have no problem being wordy - but damn a little color? A suggestive non-nude? A lacy thigh? Can we have nothing!! <shakes fist at sky!>

I know Lit is free and they are absolutely within their rights to do whatever the hell they want. However, I do think this might cause a decline of visitors to the site - which all in all might not be a horrible thing. Less looky-loos and more people with things to say? Is this wishful thinking or might there be a silver lining?

How are people feeling about the links? Will you click them? Do you like the mystery or will some sexy teasing words drive your curiosity? I want to keep the spirit of the B&B alive without getting banned (because that just might be my 13th reason why this year). Either way, I'm excited to experiment and see what works for others while all keeping our own individual voices. I think the people that come hang out in this wacky little corner of the internet are pretty fucking cool and insightful and sexy and I'd like to ensure you keep coming to see me (please bring snacks).

I've never been so tempted to post my "baps" in an act of defiance. 🤭 It does feel very puritanical in some ways. A war on sexuality? Will we all have to be straight soon too?

Thinking of you all in these trying times.

I'm still sticking around. And I'll defiantly look at any defiant postings of defiant baps out there! ✊

That said, on the boards I'm generally way more wordy than picture-y anyway, so I'll be fine. And if the folks who stay/cum are also of the wordier type, that's a silver lining by me. Although, depending on who posts the links and in what context, I'll probably click on them anyway. So I'm not entirely anti-visual.

I'm still here. You're not getting rid of me that easily. Clicking links is easy. People just need to find ways of using their words to entice people into clicking their links. This is Literotica after all. Why not use the words to set the scene and the links as visual aids?

Thats my thoughts and also... I quite like talking about why certain images entice us. It's an evolution for sure!

See, posts like this will cause people to leave. You link to 'snacks' and show filth. You promise 'baps' but you're no baker. You mock the straights.

This thread is surely doomed.

I am happy to click links to enjoy the quality content that people like you and @morelikeasong post.

I will like/love/wow those posts. As a possessor of a penis, I'm used to having to link my posts and I'd much rather see your wonderful smut than my 🍆

Please let us know what we can do to continue to show our support

I'll always gladly click a link if it's from you or someone else I trust!

And yeah maybe people leaving because they don't have instant access to porn images might not be a bad thing...

I personally prefer things that fire up my imagination and this thread has always done that because you encourage discourse and you curate the images and gifs to compliment it so that all ticks a lot of boxes for me. And if things have to change then things have to change but I'm here in support for however you choose to continue.

And also in case there are protest baps!
