The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Yes exactly.

TBH, im kinda wondering if the practicalities of it might be too much anyway. She's not that far from me at all, about 100 miles at a guess. I don't know her exact location, but near enough. That's not a huge distance, but it still requires a train journey or a drive (i dont drive).

I think for the moment I'm going to chill out and see what she says. initially it was provoked by her saying she'd like to have sex. But on reflection I feel kinda sleazy asking to meet on that basis.
Do what feels right to you. While there's nothing wrong with a hot sexual encounter, the best relationships I've had have started out as friends. YMMV, of course.

It's just after 0100 on an overcast Monday morning. It's 47° here so, while not DKA cold, it feels cold to me. I still won't get a moon shot tonight; it's too cloudy. 🙄😤

I had a busy day. I got my hair cut; my hairdresser is a magician! Then some shopping. Cherries from California are available here now. I just HAD to get some as a local store had them on a special. 🍒🍒

I mowed the front yard when I got home. I'm still sore from Friday but feel better the more I move. I did figure out how to move the handle of the lawnmower down so I wasn't pushing from my shoulders. What a difference it made! I'll mow the back yard maybe tomorrow.

Get good sleep tonight, those of you on my side of the pond. Work morning starts sooner than you think! Those of you across the pond have already started your Monday. 💖✨💕

It’s morning and had a good 7 hours of sleep. Yesterday was odd as I had sinus pressure from all the pollen outside. It resulted in some sight distortion in one eye that went away eventually. If it occurs again, I am seeing a Doctor.

This morning I feel better. Aging is a pain such as my back this morning. 😂

Morning kids. Another crazy week on tap work wise. Let the “fun” begin.

Although I enjoy my job and the people I work with, retirement is starting to look a little bit better and closer to the horizon.

It’s probably just Monday morning talking…

This is good advice, Mitt. I would just add to invite her. If she says yes and shows up, it will be a fun outing for the two of you. If she says yes but doesn't show, you still get to do something fun that you would like to do.
Yeah, it should take the pressure off of her to show up. You know, in case she changes her mind at the last minute. Not that women do that at all....or even frequently.

I recommend retirement and besides you have a farm too.
I don’t know if it’s financially feasible just yet. My main thing is getting to 65 for Medicare.

I don’t know if I have to work that long, but I definitely have a good five years yet before retirement.

The farm is not much of a money maker. Even if I did it full-time, it would not support us. I’m sure it could be creative and how we used the land though.

Random thoughts as I enter the office into corporate Zombieland.

More brains!
