It has been a fun day.... The highlight of the day was one of my male mates sending an SOS message at 11am which I will always read wherever I am in case I need to leave work - "SOS! Help I sent the following Teams at 7:30am to my boss. She's just seen it. WTF do I do?!?!

Yep. I then told him to apologize immediately, don't edit the message as she would have screenshot it immediately and advise of the ACTUAL message he meant to send which was 'Hey. Please send up the boots.'

Still ended up in a HR meeting where they all laughed about it but reminded that proof reading all internal communication was required to avoid problems in hierarchical organisations

My energy today was all positive feedback for everyone, even the tradies blocking my office door with cables!

I even went up to them and told them they were awesome at respectful and clear communication.

I was not flirting with the tradies

I was giving positive feedback as they were seriously the most professional tradies I have heard. They spent two hours in front of my office yelling instructions through the new conduits to pass the guide wires through! Not once did I hear them use aggressive language or slurs when stuff went wrong. And the cutest thing was when I heard the nickname for the youngest guy on the team - Grandad, as he's always dropping wisdom. They were just an awesome example of positive masculinity which made me smile even when they blocked me in my office.
