negronis and paper planes are always a win for me...but I like so many different things...old fashioneds, manhattans, penicillins, the last words, vesper martinis, moscow mules...I keep a cocktail recipe word file handy, but also do own some cocktail/bartending books. Random tv shows Im watching
Andor S2. Disney. Easily the best SW spin-off...no lip-service for kiddies, no cameos of R2 or Yoda or the Emperor, just amazing plots and acting. If you never saw it, you should watch it. S1 first couple episodes are SLOW and youll think "Kit is so fucking wrong"...and then episode 3 or 34 hits and youll be like "I take back everything bad I said. This is the shit".
The Devil's Plan. Netflix. Korean reality show. S1 was super good, and S2 just started. Im not ito most reality tv but its excellent.
Black Mirror. Netflix. Havent finished the new season but I fucking love this show.
The Studio. Apple Tv. Its silly but in all the best ways. If yer into the film industry, youd love. TONS of cameos with decent speaking roles/plotlines in their episodes (Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Anthony Mackie, Zac Efron, Olivia Wilde, Ron Howard, Ice Cube, Zoe Kravitz, "The Boys" homelander and starlight, Bryan Cranston, Paul Dano, Greta Lee, Peter Berg, David Krumholz, Nick Stoller, Steve Buscemi, Sarah Polley...jeez Im prob missing plenty more!
Fight for Glory: the 2024 World Series. AppleTv Dodgers/Yankees behind the scenes, 3 episodes. Ive finished two only. I get it if you hate either/both teams, but its super good and interesting to see actually.
Starting 5. Netflix, NBA stuff from 2023. Its fascinating and boring at the same time. Good to watch but not binge I guess is a good way to put it.
Just finished Righteous Gemstones. Didnt like the end/final episode but the rest of the season was great.

Americano? I mean...double espresso and boiling water...??? Unless you mean the drink I have not ever ordered which is campari, sweet vermouth, and club soda I think?
Negroni:
1 oz gin (I use tanqueray 10 usually for this)
1 oz Campari
1 oz sweet vermouth
mix into cold/frozen lowball glass with ice (or straight up too, but its a good summer drink with ice if you ask me)
add orange peel

Other random drinks I like:
"Keys to the Castle"
1.5 oz whiskey/bourbon, 1.5 oz gin, 1.5 oz lillet, 1.5 oz simple syrup
Shake over ice, garnish with lemon peel
"Empress Mai Tai"
6 oz lime juice, 6 oz white rum, 3 oz pineapple gum syrup, 3 oz triple sec.
Chill in fridge
Pour over ice, top float with Empress gin
Garnish with mint
