There is a lot that is exaggerated. However, those moments are inspired by a very real culture. @Dayhoosier sounds like he was possibly in a more chill frat or at a more chill school. My school however...

Sororities and Fraternities get shut down for good reason, it usually just takes too long or too many strikes to get them there.

Although, there are good ones. Not all are the same or as they are in movies. But, there are people you meet in life where you just go, "aah, so you're the monster of a movie. Got it."

Sure. The chickens that were being kept in one house but had to remain a secret from the House Mom. So, they were always let out at parties...

A different frat always moved their main couch. So, for tailgating, the noobs had to carry it from the frat house to the house's designated tailgate spot. One night, someone was high and decided a roof couch was genius. So, that's how they ended up with a broken couch on their front lawn.

I never partied at any Sorority. While there were about 3 nice (and I mean the people were nice) sororities, the rest really did think themselves higher up the food chain. Although, hearing about the special amenities of different houses made me wanna visit just to see.

When it comes to college experiences, I might be a little like Chloe. I came from a rural area and didn't have much money, plus I just wasn't much of a joiner, so I never joined a sorority. I was always vaguely suspicious that sororities and frats were cults of some kind. I had a weird upbringing, lol. Not really strict or conservative - more of an outsider mindset.

Anyway, most of my adventues in college were with friends. We did go to some frat parties, which were usually just loud and drunken - not really notably "wild" in a movie way, though.

I much preferred trips to my friend's family cabin. No boys allowed. Peaceful and quiet.

Okay, time to face the day. I still don't feel great, and we're traveling for a few days.wish me luck. Have a great weekend, everyone! 😘
