Longest I've seen was around 80 Lit pages, about 300,000 words. On that basis, no upper limit. If there was, the site would tell you, and you could split it in two.Does anyone know if there's a maximum length for stories here?
You can either use a program like Word or OpenOffice, which allows you to format it within the document, and then submit it as a .doc, .docx, or .rtf file, where formatting is retained during the conversion process. Or if you're typing directly into the site's submission box, you can use simple HTML code:How do we italicize in a story? I see the italics icon here, but how do we do it when submitting a story?
<i>This line will print in italics!</i>
It should. I know some people have had issues with formatting not always showing up properly, but I've done it for everything except my poetry, and never had an issue. I use LibreOffice and submit in .rtf format. So if I submit the Word file and it's italicized in the Word file, it will show up in italics on the site?
