What do smart, sexy younger women look for in older guys?

That’s exactly it: emotional maturity and not having to play mother to a man baby who never learned to clean up after himself
Jesus, the very thought of a partner taking on the mother role ... Blech!

I like looking after myself, and us. I'm not remotely patriarchal though, we're very much equals and our talents and needs complement each other well.

It comes out especially in things like cooking; she has better instincts for flavours and combinations than me, but gets bored with the donkey work of chopping and prepping stuff, so she'll choose the herbs and spices for a marinade or sauce then let me do the rest.

It’s difficult to explain, but for me, the older, more sophisticated man, has a certain mystique about him. They recognize how to make me feel attractive, and wanted. There is the experience and style in their efforts to seduce me, and they tend not to be in a frantic rush to get my knickers off. Once involved, they know how to bring me to a level of sexual enjoyment. Taking their time, instead of rushing, and thinking only of their own gratification. (Sometimes there are disappointments though). I’m drifting more to the aged, more mature men and learning a lot from them. Much more than from the young fellows, who think a fast, vigorous pounding is what I want. Although, there are times when that is exactly what I need.

Lucy.
Took me a while to realize that making a woman orgasm is more sexually satisfying than having my own orgasm (although I like that too). It’s so amazing that you can bring a woman to that level of pleasure; that her legs are shaking and she begs you to stop. But you don’t….

I agree. I have such a difficult time climaxing myself due to the meds I’m on, that I get my satisfaction from pleasing my wife.

All the money answers here are wild. I’ve dated older men most of my life. I like the maturity. The confidence. And the general prowess. Frequently men my own age when I was 20-30 were absolute idiots lol.
Idiots, indeed :) I hear that a lot.

For me, it has always been the safe comfortable space created for me by my dad. Of course, some of this is very general and based on my experience. I do know older men that are not interesting to me at all. The way I learned an older man carried himself, took care of things, maintained a safe place (physically and emotionally), asked nothing of me, showed me love and affection. My dad showed all that and helped me realize my emotional, personal, and physical value. My attraction to these older men has never been about money.

Sounds like a great dad

Sounds like your dad was a very positive role model for you. That’s always good to hear.

I love how $$ makes everyone more attractive.
Not unlike the scene in "Broadcast News" when Albert Brooks (Aaron) is on the phone with Holly Hunter (Jane).

Jane - "I have passed some line some place. I am beginning to repel people I'm trying to seduce."
Aaron - "He must have been great-looking."
Jane - "Why do you say that?"
Aaron - "Because nobody invites a bad-looking idiot to their hotel room."

😂
