Uppity Maine governor Janet Mills stood her ground against criticism from thin-skinned dotard-in-chief last week.

This didn't sit well with Lee Dudek, the 'acting commissioner of Social Security'. He decided on his second week on the job that Social Security was gonna teach that bitch Janet Mills a lesson.

Dudek unilaterally cancelled both the "Registration at Birth' and 'electronic death record notification" contracts for Social Security, but just for the state of Maine.

This meant all new parents could not register their newborns when born at any hospital in Maine any longer for Social Security (something they've been able to do for 45 years)...they'd have to do so in person at one of 8 social security offices in Maine.

Public reaction was fucking priceless.

Musk blamed Trump, Trump blamed Musk, and finally Dudek stepped up and said "I fucked up".

Decision IMMEDIATELY reversed today, and contracts "un-cancelled".

Dudek rose to notoriety in February when DOGE asked for everyone in America's social security number from SSA. The director of Social Security said oh HELL naw.

Dudek, who was a mid-level director of IT, defied his boss and sent everyone in America's social security numbers to DOGE. The Social Security director found out and fired Dudek for gross insubordination and identity theft. Musk found out about this and got the head of Social Security to resign....he then asked Trump to replace the SSA chief with the fired Dudek.

Fucking Golden Age of America folks.
This is what America voted for.

This is such a clusterfuck.
Imagine having to bundle up your newborn against sub-zero weather and travelling up to an hour away on icy Maine roads to present the newborn and the birth certificate to some bored SSA clerk.

And when you arrive there, the power is out because Ontario has cut off all power to Maine because of the Trump tariffs.

The troll Janet Mills finally understands Men do not belong in women's sports.
That didn't take long.
I guess she couldn't find a judge willing to bend the rules for her.

Lee Dudek, the 'acting commissioner of Social Security', strikes again!
The MAGAt who was fired for leaking Social Security data to Elon Musk's frat boy tech bros in February, then reinstated by Mr. Trump and promoted to "acting commissioner', received a federal court order yesterday telling him to revoke unrestricted access to Musk and his bois IMMEDIATELY.

Dudek responded with maximum derp.

"I will of course comply with the federal judge's ruling immediately. I would like it to be known that if I have to revoke the DOGE team's system level security, I will also be forced to revoke all of our other senior systems administrator's system level security access as well.

This will mean that no one will have the authority to issue monthly Social Security payments effective April first. We regret the inconvenience the lack of payment will cause retirees, but a federal order MUST be obeyed."

Fear mongering at it's finest. Truly we live in Golden Age of White America.

Maine Capitulated to Trump, But Now He Wants an Apology. Is He Going Too Far?

After weeks of defiance of President Trump’s Feb. 5 executive order banning men from participating in women’s sports, the University of Maine System (UMS) gave in on Wednesday: the Department of Agriculture now affirms that Maine’s universities are now in ā€œfull complianceā€ with the executive order. That’s a refreshing blow for sanity, but President Trump made it clear in a Saturday message on Truth Social that he was not satisfied:

While the State of Maine has apologized for their Governor’s strong, but totally incorrect, statement about men playing in women’s sports while at the meeting of governors at the White House, we have not heard from the governor herself, and she is the one that matters in such cases. Therefore, we need a full throated apology from the governor herself, and a statement that she will never make such an unlawful challenge to the federal government again, before this case can be settled. I’m sure she will be able to do that quite easily. Thank you for your attention to this matter and, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!! DJT

Trump was referring to the fact that Maine Gov. Janet Mills (D-Of Course) defied him openly not long after he issued the executive order, telling him at a governors’ meeting: "We'll see you in court." Trump shot back: ā€œI look forward to it.ā€ The legal battle, however, didn’t come to pass; Maine caved first. So why is Trump continuing to pursue this and demanding an apology from Mills? Isn’t his victory enough?

Actually, Trump makes an important point. It would be good and useful to have ā€œa statement that she will never make such an unlawful challenge to the Federal Government again.ā€ The Democrat political elites are doing their best to portray Trump as a lawless dictator-in-the-making who is busy destroying what they hypocritically and erroneously persist in calling ā€œour democracy.ā€ Yet as is so often the case with such charges, they are indulging in the old tactic of accusing their enemies of what they themselves are guilty of doing.

The Governor still has not apologised personally to Trump, now has she? Care to make a little wager on if she ever will?

Thought RWs were all about states' rights.

Gov't and Maine reach settlement over frozen funding because of trump's insistence Maine's inclusion of transgender sports-people went against his title IX decree.

Basically, the gov't caved and restored funding on the understanding Maine would drop its court case against them:

ā€œIt’s unfortunate that my office had to resort to federal court just to get USDA to comply with the law and its own regulations," Frey said in a statement. "But we are pleased that the lawsuit has now been resolved and that Maine will continue to receive funds as directed by Congress to feed children and vulnerable adults.ā€

Maine quickly sued the Trump administration, where the state's attorneys argued that the child nutrition program received or was due to receive more than $1.8 million for the current fiscal year. Prior year funds that were awarded but are currently inaccessible total more than $900,000, the lawsuit states. The lawsuit also said that the program was anticipating about $3 million that is typically awarded every July for summer meal program sponsor administration and meal reimbursement.

A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to unfreeze funds last month after finding that Maine was likely to succeed in its legal challenge.

Someone on the PB coined the ā€œCave-manā€ moniker for DonOld because of DonOld’s propensity for caving. So fitting (on many levels).
