Judges face rise in threats as Musk blasts them over rulings

But the judiciary, even if it has its own politics, is supposed to be completely insulated from any political pressure from the other branches. That's why the Constitution specifies that judges' pay cannot be reduced.
The judicial branch is currently the only branch not bending the knee to the President.

The issue here is that Congress is feckless.

Immigration judges need to be added and why this administration wouldn't make that a priority just makes this whole exercise out to be a lie.

Congress itself has greatly diminished the political significance of impeachments. President Clinton emerged unscathed and fairly popular after his partisan impeachment, and President Trump achieved the greatest political comeback in modern history despite the two silly partisan impeachments he defiantly brushed off.
You know there was nothing silly about those!

I know it a lot better than you. I've taken courses in constitutional law.
No you don't. You don't know shit.

Article III Section 1. "The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office."

"good behavior" Nothing about criminal activity. Written COMPLETELY different than the impeachment clause. I contend that imposing nationwide injunctions for activities over which the judiciary has ZERO power is "BAD BEHAVIOR" and is therefore impeachable conduct. Get rid of the bastards.

Can’t wait until 2029 when the government can take your guns.

No, Clinton's impeachment was silly. Trump was impeached for reasons no Congress could ignore.
It was silly. You know that. At least Clinton was impeached for breaking the law (perjury under oath). Trump wasn’t even charged with a crime. Stop with your partisan nonsense.

Legally, "good behavior" in that context does not mean anything else than absence of criminal activity.

Nixon wasn't charged with a crime either, but he would have been impeached if he had not resigned, and quite properly.

Nixon lost the support of Congress and the American public. If he had been impeached, he would have been removed from office. Clinton and Trump were acquitted and enjoyed public support in the aftermath of their partisan impeachments.

That does not make both impeachments equally silly or serious. Clinton's was silly, Trump's were serious -- both of them.
