The judicial branch is currently the only branch not bending the knee to the President.But the judiciary, even if it has its own politics, is supposed to be completely insulated from any political pressure from the other branches. That's why the Constitution specifies that judges' pay cannot be reduced.
The issue here is that Congress is feckless.
Immigration judges need to be added and why this administration wouldn't make that a priority just makes this whole exercise out to be a lie.
