The padlock is pretty light on my biggest cage. Made of brass or something. Like one of those little luggage padlocks on small suitcases.

The weight is nice. It hangs well during the day. The ring actually rests on my glans and foreskin so the spikes don’t come into play unless I start to get an erection. I’ve never broken skin from the spikes although I’m sure it could if I screwed them down tight enough.
