For once.... I'd like to spiral into control....

Well… I know I said I was going to make the Sophie Shawl but I was able to stop by a local yarn store on the way home and I sort of picked up all the yarn I need for the Halibut Sweater. I want to try my hand at colour work!!

I went with a nice blue, although I wanted to try and replicate this as much as I could. They’re spinning the yarn for me now, I believe it’s a wool and silk blend, and I think I should be able to pick it up in a couple days, maybe early next week

Gauge swatching in the round with colour-work is a real challenge and I’m loving it!!!

I’ll come back and show how my floats are going, I fear I’m accidentally twisting stitches but we’ll see!!

Starting with gauge swatching sounds great! I have done colorwork sweaters several times, and I love it. Happy knitting

Yes....
And you have to know what the "code" is to be able to make the magic.... Or the words mean nothing....

Similar to conjugation of a sentence or verb....
