I especially like those old Polaroid prints, with their warm colors and the slightly out-of-focus look caused by the bleeding inks. Also because they were the only way for amateurs to shoot racy pictures of themselves without risking trouble at the drug-store photo processing counter.

I've seen some of my sons' female friends using newer Polaroid cameras. If I was a betting man, I'd risk a paycheck on someone taking naked pics with them

Well, you can buy digital cameras for a very little money, and transfer the images to your computer. That way, it's far less likely that they'll end up where you don't want them.

But I'm thinking that there must be some app that will transmogrify a digital image into a "Polaroid" image with the soft bleeds and bright colors. Maybe Photoshop or a clone...

Yeah so true.. I’d always worry when I went to pickup my slides at photomat.
