Am I the only one who just wants areaction? Though come to think of it, I’d probably use those a lot too.
That’s some serious truth there. A few months ago I was talking to someone and referring to one of my life long beliefs… pretty much sacred to me. And he pointed out that was in direct conflict with something else I had shared with him. Mind blown…. He was right. I just never thought about it that way.Which leads me to, I believe most people have inner contradictions they can neither resolve nor let go of.
I believe that is a great catch there...How can you believe in fate, and yet believe you were born at the wrong time? That seems like an irreconcilable contradiction.

(Which is to say, I'm not criticising you, @Ssbbw4u1974 . More like commiserating!)

Just curious… is this loss of logic and overcome with feelings triggered when you see boobs?I believe this creates a cognitive dissonance that can drive some of us mad. I’m an incredibly logical person, but I have some thoughts, feelings and beliefs that cause some problems in my brain that I cannot reconcile.

I believe that now I don't know what to believe anymore. How can you believe in fate, and yet believe you were born at the wrong time? That seems like an irreconcilable contradiction.

I believe that all tacos should be soft shell.
I believe that that would solve some messy problems.I believe that all tacos should be soft shell.
But, but... I like the hard ones!!I believe that all tacos should be soft shell.
Everything is always better soft than hard.I believe that all tacos should be soft shell.
Sir, Are you lost? Did you take a wrong turn on the interwebs?Everything is always better soft than hard.
Love that song by Slade!...in woman, my oh my
I believe in lovin', my oh my.
Weird? Strange? Silly? Yes please.
I might not be lost but my mind certainly is.Sir, Are you lost? Did you take a wrong turn on the interwebs?
I would argue that context is key. By and large, on Lit, Hard =GoodI might not be lost but my mind certainly is.
When things are bad, we say that "times are hard." Therefore hard=bad. And logically soft must be good.
Well yeah, because that is the correct way. Anything else is heresy...What weird, strange, silly things do you believe? I believe the toilet paper goes over the roll. But I don’t believe there’s a right way to load the dishwasher.
