They don't read that. It is not in the Quran. There are some passages against Jews specifically, but nothing genocidal. The only nonbeliever any Muslim has a duty to kill is an apostate, i.e., a lapsed Muslim.

i understand that there is more violent rhetoric in Islam than most religions, but any religion is as violent as their believer wants it to be. I can interpret the christian bible to do harm just as easily as any other book.
I fully agree with most of this statement. Where I don't agree is after reading Martin Dugard's book, Killing The Killers' which looks to be 100% factual, I'm not making up anything.
The research was done by Martin Dugard and is just about 100% factual. As somebody who still is a history buff, I remember almost every instance Dugard quotes. I also wouldn't discount the congressional record Dugard quotes.

On that point, we agree. That is why I'm not currently a member of any synagogue. There are zealots in every religion.
