Yep, this is how we’re the greatest country or were anywayThe government pays universities for research.
Not a difficult thing to understand.
Our ROI is worth every penny.
It certainly is a big aspect. We have the best tech development in the world in almost every industry.Yep, this is how were the greatest country or were anyway
I think the Jewish students living in fear of their lives might disagree. I still can't imagine why ANY Jew would go to this school. And please don't say to get an education, because they can't get that education while being threatened with physical harm every day.Yes, I'm saying that.
They might if they existed.I think the Jewish students living in fear of their lives might disagree.
ObfuscationI think the Jewish students living in fear of their lives might disagree.
Funding for universities to advance our technology is a separate topic from student safety.I still can't imagine why ANY Jew would go to this school. And please don't say to get an education, because they can't get that education while being threatened with physical harm every day.
A lot of Jews have been involved in anti-Israel protests.I still can't imagine why ANY Jew would go to this school.
Criminalizing "political speech" on college campuses placates the "donor class", but makes the students a tad angry.I think the Jewish students living in fear of their lives might disagree. Some students will always aspire to be the "best and the brightest". Yes, even Jewish students (not you, obviously).I think the Jewish students living in fear of their lives might disagree. The Jewish and Israeli students at Harvard are smart enough to recognize Trump's performative theatrics at Harvard are not designed to benefit the Harvard Jewish population (currently 10% of the student body). Their main worry is that THEY (the Jewish and Israeli students) will be blamed for the collapse of the government/academic partnership that has worked out well for both sides for 80+ years.
Jewish, Israeli Harvard students warn Trump policy hurting them
Hillel issues letter claiming the administration's confrontational policy toward Harvard University in the name of fighting "antisemitism" does not protect Jewish students and is harming the preeminence of American research and industry
N.B. For those who did not see the point in attending college, "Hillel" is the premier Jewish student organization on virtually every major secular college campus.
What proof do you have of that funding?I would say: The unwarranted radical student (and non-student) behavior by the actual anti-Semitic crowd that was/is funded by foreign (and domestic?) arab / Muslim enemies of Israel AND America has yielded results far beyond their wildest dreams (nightmares?).
What proof do you have of that funding?
There's a whole thread on the similarities...I'm reminded daily of the history I learned in high school. For those who missed that class, Google "Germany 1930s". See any parallels?
You entered the room and expressed an opinion, which a couple remarked on. That's par for the course here.Yes, I understand it perfectly.
You both prove my point exactly, unfortunately. ‘Unfortunately’ because exactly what you write makes you what you accuse others of being.
I am what some US citizens call a left-wing fanatic, only these people use a different choice of words.
In the civilised world, people like me are called ‘liberal social democrats’.
For those who don't know what ‘liberal’ is, liberal means free from fear of oppression by the state or by others.
In other words, exactly what the supporters of 47 demand and the exact opposite of what 47 is building: A totalitarian state that terrorises its citizens by means of its institutions.
Your president makes it possible for strong market players to exploit the people and at the same time forbids these people to defend themselves against this. He systematically dismantles all structures that serve the people and strengthens and perverts those that benefit him. He will truly go down in the history books as the man who did the greatest damage to the USA.
And now we come to you two. You don't know me. You know nothing about me. You've read a single post of mine and you didn't even understand it. You are making common cause in tone and argumentation with the people who are cheering on 47 who are destroying your state. What does that make you?
I could write that here now, but that would be extremely rude.
You're claiming responsibility for Elon being unleased on the US? That's grounds for a declaration of war!No; his Mom is Canadian.

If you cannot blame the sins of the father on the child. how can you hold responsible the sins of the child on the mother....You're claiming responsibility for Elon being unleased on the US? That's grounds for a declaration of war!![]()
Convincing? No.Fairly convincing.

We. Told. Them. So.

And the New York based Lawfare Project, which examined
Convincing? No.
From the article
The "Lawfare Project" is an astroturf organzation that denigrates anything and everything remotely critical of Israel.
Anything they say publicly should be taken with a pound of salt.
Your statements remove all doubt on what you think about the safety of Jewish students on many, many campuses all over this country. Sadly, most are financed by the ultimate self hating Jew, George Soros.^^^
Dumb & desperate take of a Deplorable in the midst of getting trounced in a back-and-forth with someone far smarter.
Next, you'll say I don't care about Jewish students. Run your sad little playbook, simp.![]()
None of those Jews are in danger, and many are active in anti-Israel protests, and not the "self-hating" ones, either.Your statements remove all doubt on what you think about the safety of Jewish students on many, many campuses all over this country. OMG! I already knew you were a kool-ade drinking lemming, but saying Jewish students having to hide in fear aren't in any danger might be the dumbest statement you've ever said here. And that's saying a lot.None of those Jews are in danger, and many are active in anti-Israel protests, and not the "self-hating" ones, either.
They don't have to hide in fear. Not a single one of them. Nobody on any campus in the country is hunting Jews.OMG! And that's saying a lot.
