Yeah... I have found that the only thing a complaint would get me is pissed off vengeful neighbors and I have enough to worry aboutAwful. Over here you would report to RSPCA for animal cruelty and Local Council for noise complaint
I know of someone (friend of a friend) who ate half a pan of them. They were warned not to, but did it anyway. Apparently the result was sleeping for a long time, and waking up with a "I'm never going to do that again attitude!".Yeah, I will never forget my first time. “Nothing is happening. Let me eat some more!”
And then it hit…
And then I was down for the count…
I sort of am thinking that too.....Good to see you get stuff done. I have a gravel parking area and am gonna get it tarred as the gravel gets everywhere and is a pain. I decided to swallow the pain to the wallet to get rid of gravel.
Yes, gravel is a pain. Our snow is melting and I can see the massive piles of gravel that have left the driveway with the snow blower last winter. There's going to be a lot of cleanup this spring...Good to see you get stuff done. I have a gravel parking area and am gonna get it tarred as the gravel gets everywhere and is a pain. Mornin Hoosier!Good morning![]()
Small world, huh? Indiana has strangely become kind of a volleyball hotbed at least in the MidwestMornin Hoosier!
Met a bunch of moms at the volleyball tournament (one of the benefits of volleyball!) from Indiana. NW IN.
I grew up in a small town in Indiana ....though I've been in Ohio quite a while now! My sister coaches club in Indiana. Theyjj were in Tennessee this weekendMy mom was from a tiny town in west Indiana called Tangier.
I hate the weeds through the gravelYes, gravel is a pain. Our snow is melting and I can see the massive piles of gravel that have left the driveway with the snow blower last winter. There's going to be a lot of cleanup this spring...
Better living through chemistry. I spray the weeds.I hate the weeds through the gravel
It gets away from me ....I need someone to bring their tractor and box qnd rough it up.... or pay someone to do it...... that always seems to be what I have to do.... pay pay payBetter living through chemistry. I spray the weeds.
I also hand pluck them in some places.
You could always buy your own tractor. It gets away from me ....I need someone to bring their tractor and box qnd rough it up.... or pay someone to do it...... that always seems to be what I have to do.... pay pay pay
Yeah.... I know... I have to pay to get things done when and how I want it done.... I am just whiningYou could always buy your own tractor. But my guess is it would be cheaper in the long term to just pay someone once in a while. If you're in a small town, finding that local guy who just bought a new tractor willing to work for some cash and a pan of brownies would be ideal...
Having the need for a tractor, I have one, and the costs are NOT zero. The advantage is being able to do the jobs myself, when I want/need to. However, I still pay for bigger equipment and an operator when I need access to them. So paying isn't the end of the world.
It's unanimous - sleepover at Rj's house@Missk_2022
You'd love where I live..pristine quiet all day long...except after a rain. I have a pond nearby and the fu*king frogs hooting & tooting drive me crazy(er) till dawn. Along with the night owls, crickets, and bigger critters in the brushes.
Once again, Wonderer getting done in one day what would take me *checks my energy levels* well, a heckuva lot longerBusy and productive day today
For those hardwired to be a Giver, learning how to receive can be challenging. One of my other dear friends is trying to work with me on this concept. I'm much better at giving than taking.![]()
Sorry, Missk... I was in the same boat last night. Mind racing far too late before it let me drift off.I can't sleep..... f ing great

Ps… did you wear your pink gloves and pink glasses for safety reasons during assembly and cotter pin bending?
They are making such wonderful progressThanks OM… yes my latest offering on my YouTube site
Good call on an easy day. Feel better soon!I had a middling day. Woke up with a sore throat this morning. Sneezing and snotty, too. Probably allergies but decided to have an easy-ish day today.
Do they do the same for golf as for American Football at least? Edit out all the time outs and chatter and commercials? I remember watching American Football at 2am local Scotland time thinking, "See? It doesn't take 3 whole hours for just one game!"It's a beautiful, sunny Spring day here. Late up today, having been up till 2:00 watching Rory McIlroy achieve golfing immortality.
I find it absolutely shocking than an older house would have such issues. Nice that you have the know-how to resolve it in-house, WatHad electrical panel issues yesterday which got sorted out.
Yes, okay... for you it's a Marvelous MondayTGIM I can go to the store and there will probably be no lines at the check out!
Yeah - had that joy w/ 2 friends in Amsterdam 30+ years ago. When the cake at the café didn't hit immediately, they called the waiter over to order more. I just got finished explaining how biology and digestion work when the waiter told them they recommended waiting about a half hour between orders to give it time to work. I felt so validated!I was thinking pot does not take 30 minutes but then it came to me. Oh! BROWNIES!
I'm amazed how well you function with your sleep interrupted so often. Of course, I would do the same for a family member.Around midnight there must have been some storms as my old dog woke me up. He was shivering badly so I had to stay up with him awhile before going back to sleep.
Déjà vu anyone?Yeah, I will never forget my first time. “Nothing is happening. Let me eat some more!”
And then it hit…
And then I was down for the count…
Good morning all! Is the third week of in a row of craziness at work for me.
I’ll be going to our valley Forge office on Tuesday and then into Philly again on Wednesday.
And pretty much while the wall meetings all the rest of the time.
A what now?Look at that! A choke!!!
Even my Déjà vu has Déjà vu nowI know of someone (friend of a friend) who ate half a pan of them. They were warned not to, but did it anyway. Apparently the result was sleeping for a long time, and waking up with a "I'm never going to do that again attitude!".
I'm like 20 pages behind this morning. Tax stuff is driving me batty, along with prepping equipment for summer. Finding more broken or nearly broken things than I wan to. Which means lots of fixing stuff this weekend (OK, more ordering parts, but tearing half way into stuff to find what's broke to order the damn parts!). So the garage is full of things spread out in pieces.
Looking foreword to a Monday and starting work this morning so I can "Relax some". LOL!
So that said. Good morning everyone. Hope you have a great day, for a Monday!
Ear worm alert! Ear Worm!!!Small world, huh? Indiana has strangely become kind of a volleyball hotbed at least in the Midwest
I am over it already, I just told my boss that I am counting down to retirement
Whine away! Better to get it out here than have it burst through unexpectedly in the office IMO.Yeah.... I know... I have to pay to get things done when and how I want it done.... I am just whining
Over here it is all confidential. Names are never revealed.Yeah... I have found that the only thing a complaint would get me is pissed off vengeful neighbors and I have enough to worry about

L2: Yes, yes. That's right... everyone is so pretty...
It is windy here too but 75 degrees....so that is niceI think spring is on it's way. A few bare spots are starting to show in the yard. Although it's windy AF right now, and weather service is calling for 3"-9" of snow! Now we start the wet miserable sloppy time of the year!![]()
