My first opera (Fidelio) was also Beethoven and sung in German. But... I do believe opera is mostly Italian?

right but they were also, as they announced loudly to the bar, in their 60s! One said she was a cougar and the other said she was a GILF (which I didn't even know was a thing...) and those young bucks... didn't have a chance
