Story inspired by old sci-fi pulp stories

I've been working on a story that's sort of inspired by old pulp stories. The main character is a beefy sort of protagonist that finds himself in the clutches at the start of a domme woman that is interrogating him. I want to have it go in the direction of a twisted romance. I was curious if there is anyone that would be into a story like that or if anyone has anything they might like to see in a story like that.

Oh yeah! Flash Gordon type stuff? You bet your ass!

I'd have him captured and in her clutches until her ship is shot down and they are marooned together in hostile territory. Now they have to work together to survive. Lots of hatred at first. Like that old sci-fi story, Enemy Mine.

As it turns out their species are capable as it leads to her being impregnated. They are rescued just after she gives birth. They forge a treaty between their people.

Enemy Mine is a fantastic old sci-fi enemies to friends story. In this case, the faction the woman is a part of is matriarchal and many of them are gay or bisexual, but they often still take slaves to bolster their numbers and factions. I plan on him being a slave of hers probably and then at some point turning the tables and escaping. I was thinking I want him to not be an action hero, he's just an athlete. And I think it would be fun to go back to a story where he's in athletic competition.

Enemy Mine. Old sci-fi.
UWOTM8?

Try Forbidden Planet (1956,58 something). Except the planet is inhabited by nude women who wear nothing but gemstones and gold chains.

Liessa reached up and removed her helmet letting the coils of red hair tumble out. Then she unfastened the brooch of her robe. Underneath, she was naked.

As Hrun’s gaze swept over her his mind began to operate two notional counting machines. One assessed the gold in her bangles, the tiger-rubies that ornamented her toe-rings, the diamond spangle that adorned her navel, and two highly individual whirligigs of silver filigree. The other was plugged straight into his libido. Both produced tallies that pleased him mightily.

Forbidden Planet is one of my all time favorite movies. I wouldn't exactly call it pulp, but its close. And now that I think about it, it really is a good inspiration. Taking a Shakespeare story and really making it something else.

From the Flash Gordon comic strip. (Yes this ran in millions of Sonday papers) After the Witch Queen is finished with Dale she starts on Flash!

The disaster of the 1980 Flash Gordon movie and TV series is exceeded only by the porn movie Flesh Gordon
I love this movie! It was SUPPOSED to be a disaster! It was filmed in a camp style on purpose as the writer was the guy who developed the 60's Batman TV show. It has some wonderfully over-the-top performances by some terrific actors and a QUEEN SOUNDTRACK! Great stuff and it's now a cult film.

If you want some inspiration from popular and classic shows featuring beefy men, try Beastmaster, Hercules, or Tarzan. For bondage, maybe try films like BloodRayne

I loved that movie, too. The dialog was hilarious and the princess was bonerific. My buddy and I both said, hey this Prince Barin guy would make a good James Bond!

Also love John Norman's GOR novels. They would be right at home here at Literotica.

I have been listening to the audiobook of “the Dying Earth” which is fantasy in the “advanced enough science will appear to be magic” variety.

I could see some fun with the premise as a one off.

Like having some overlord stand in front of our hero with tied up scantily clad women struggling in the back.

“FOOLISH BOY! DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT CORVO THE UNSEEN IS IMMUNE TO ANY ATTACK BY LASER OR MAGIC? THOUSANDS HAVE STOOD WHERE YOU STAND AND THOUSANDS HAVE BEEN IN INCENERATED BY MY DEATH BEAMS! WHAT DO YOU THINK-“

Corvo’s words were silenced as Krum the Quiet’s tossed stone smashed into his face with such force that it appeared for a second like it might crater with enough force to exit out the back of his head. Instead, it merely nested in his destroyed cranium and then poppped out when the laser lord’s body fell to the floor.

As Krum walked over to begin freeing the grateful women, he stopped to scoop up the stone and wiped it clean on Corvo’s robes. One never knew when his stone might prove to be useful again against another loquacious person.

I think the key to writing anything in this genre is that it all has to be exaggerated beyond all reality. Everything must be over the top.

The action, the set pieces, the personalities, the sex.

really go for broke making it all larger than life.
