They have a dish called "road kill" I enjoy that and the Caesar salad......

McMenamins has a bunch of min-mall restaurants, and they are fine, but they also buy old properties (like Edgefield, a huge old place which was at one time an insane asylum, and another time a whorehouse) and renovate them as B&Bs, restaurants, movie theaters, and the like. The Roadhouse was an old farmhouse. My favorite is the Kennedy School, which was an elementary school, but is now a hotel. Their properties are better than their beer though (it is okay, but not great).

I always thought renovations like this one where neat ( a lacklistwr description , I know)
There's a restaurant near home,.that was an old farm house ... They took all the doors from the bedrooms and use them to creat dinning sections
The bar is so small but definitely unique....
