I got in trouble once for driving off campus. I took a girl student back to our sister school, giving her a ride because it was raining. He had me dead to rights, but I asked if I should have sat there on a technicality and let her drown on her walk back.


I never heard any more about it.

Update from the morning taxi run. My daughter saw the sky turn green and took the kids to the basement. Afterward she had 2 trees uprooted and one with too many broken limbs and it may need to be cut down. Her hubby works as a lineman and is on storm repair duty. They have a generator for backup power.

On the drive I saw remnants of an uprooted tree with a diameter of about 24 inches. I dodged closed off roads and tree limbs. It was ugly. I am not looking forward to Wednesday.

Years ago someone sent me the link for the MN DNR Eagle Cam, which high winds have blown out of view this year. But their site links to the MN DNR Falcon Cam, which looks to have an egg already!!

I'm a sucker for a good webcam - cities, zoos, aquariums. I could watch the jellyfish for hours (yes - like a lava lamp). But I pick my own tunes - not a fan of most background music for those that use it.
