Am I the only one that doesn’t care who the actor or actress is and only if I like the movie or not?

I think you might be the minority here. Some actors are just better at their craft and that’s why they make the movie what it is.

I don't care about the actor, I care about the acting. To use Tom Cruise, I don't care about his religion, or his girlfriends, or whether he will come out of the closet, or his favorite food. I appreciate his acting and his dedication to his craft.

I love Keanu Reeves as a person -- he is a beautiful soul, and a solid action hero. But he has an incredibly limited range as an actor.

I'm a little bit both ways, really. Mostly I don't care if they commit normal human fuck-ups. But if they go out of their way to promote things I disagree with, I'm out.
