Positive: had a forestry inspection today and passed with flying colors.

Negative: when we went to the basement this morning, there was water all over the floor. While we are away, I think our water heater went bad. I did notice a couple of weird noises last night when the furnace kicked on. It all runs off the same system and sure enough, the water heater went bad.

Hopefully fixed early next week.

Check with your local law enforcement to see what protections are available to you. We had some where certain public employees could submit a form to request any license plate searches return the government center address instead of the employee's home address.

I don't think I said but, I started my new job Monday. Admin junk that day and Tuesday.
Today was learning local routes. Tomorrow and Friday I get behind the wheel.

I don't yet know what my schedule will be for next week or if I will work thru the weekend. My schedule will wind up being F-M with the middle of each week off.

At least I have my foot in the door. It seems they have a promote from within culture so maybe I can get out of the truck that way.

So we fly home tomrrow. We would’ve just spent tomorrow inside the RV watching the water rise - we were only about 20 feet from the river so it seem prudent to split, given that they were gonna get 5 -8” of rain down there.

Hehe I said 5-8 inches… hehehe.

Gotta say, even though our vacation was cut short, it was good to get some nice warm weather for a few days.

Did you replace the battery yourself? You just need to be aware that your cell provider or phone manufacturer may not provide updates after a certain time.

Stayed at the Houston airport last night got on a 7 o’clock flight and now home a day early.

Had, a solid trip. Some nice warmth, visited two friends and had a good old time.

The week was easy sauce. Great company too.

Currently, I'm in the emergency room here at 0230 after driving my mom here. She had shooting pains in her arms and chest and I gave her a nitro pill before getting her here. She's doing fine and her vitals are normal for her. EKG has been done and me and her are just sitting here waiting on someone to read blood work and test results.
