Yes sir. Our flight back home is Friday, but I think we’re going to at least head back to Houston tomorrow to get ahead of this big storm.

I didn't need that hammer after all. I got a solid 8 hours last night.

I don't think I said but, I started my new job Monday. Admin junk that day and Tuesday.
Today was learning local routes. Tomorrow and Friday I get behind the wheel.

I don't yet know what my schedule will be for next week or if I will work thru the weekend. My schedule will wind up being F-M with the middle of each week off.

At least I have my foot in the door. It seems they have a promote from within culture so maybe I can get out of the truck that way.

Still too windy and it stings when I walk the dog. He doesn’t like it either. His arthritis seems getting worse and meds may need to get increased. Checking with the vet.

We got a nice early flight out tomorrow. My bosses husband is a pilot and he said an early flight usually means that the plane is there - always a good thing.

So we fly home tomrrow. We would’ve just spent tomorrow inside the RV watching the water rise - we were only about 20 feet from the river so it seem prudent to split, given that they were gonna get 5 -8” of rain down there.

Hehe I said 5-8 inches… hehehe.

Gotta say, even though our vacation was cut short, it was good to get some nice warm weather for a few days.
