Will Derek Chauvin Be Pardoned?

I rarely chime in here, but having been steeped in the Law Enforcement community for decades, I can tell you that Derek Chauvin is where he belongs
1-It's been awhile since I read up on him, but I believe he was fired for cause from his previous department. Officers are often able to resign before they're fired, and if they are fired, the agencies never release why they were fired because they don't want to get sued. We need a national list of officers who have been l fired for cause, so other agencies know exactly what they're getting.
2-he failed to give aid, and the footage shows that. He chose ego over safety. Do you know how many druggies and combative people are taken to the ER every night by officers? There are many ways that he could have taken advantage of help from the rookie next to him, and others, to help him get that man safely in a car or at the very least in a position that he could breathe while waiting for paramedics.

George Floyd may have been on drugs, he may not be a saint, and it does upset me that the moment there's an incident with police, we like to deify someone and ignore all of their bad qualities that may have landed them there. However, none of that changes the fact that he was a human being, and regardless of how he ended up in custody or whether he was high or not, it does not change the fact that Derek Chauvin knew that what he was doing was wrong.

George Floyd was executed by cop. It’s not like he was a murderer on the loose after a killing spree. He was a drugged out fuck up. He should’ve been arrested, charged, and if convicted, serving some time. I do not believe he deserved a death sentence.

I do believe the guilty cop is made out of rejected assholes. I, too, believe that he is exactly where he deserves to be, and if he has to pull the train on cell block B every day for the rest of his life, I really don’t give much of a shit. Cops are entirely too free and easy with the lives of American citizen, and that shit needs to come to a screeching fucking halt. This cop could be the poster boy of that movement.

ACAB….

These days, you can just buy some Trump coin to get a pardon

Giving this a thumbs up because this is probably as close as you and I can get towards agreement.

Chavin got stabbed in 2023 in the "administrative segregation unit" (the part of the prison that holds snitches, "at risk' homosexuals and bad cops) of FCI Tucson, a medium security prison. He was cut up pretty badly, and it was questionable as to whether he'd survive.

Upon release, he was reassigned to a minimum security prison at a privatized 'Club Fed' prison now known as "Big Spring Prison", which was created out of the closure of Webb Air Force base in Texas, and features air-conditioned dorms and the finest recreational facilities on any prison in the United States (including an Olympic-sized swimming pool and bowling alleys). There are three mass murderers and one drug cartel senior member also held there (MINIMUM security??)

Chauvin is in the news because influencer Ben Shapiro has a close personal friendship with Chauvin, and Shapiro thinks his buddy Derek has 'suffered enough'.

We can point to yours. You sure love throwing the N word around, don't you, chan?

Says the white guy who supports institutionalized racism against white people, calling another white guy "Chan"....LOL

Mean words oh noes that's just the worst!! :D (y)

He's not worth the cost of keeping him alive in prison for decades. Put a knee on his neck and be done with him.

Great self reflection again. Baby steps and you will get there. I am proud of you.

Now let's get back to this. I gave you a choice (you know choice, right? It's a thing). Give your thoughts on either of the questions you raised.

I'm not the inquisitive one who refuses to be specific.

I already gave you my POV, if you want me to elaborate you're going to have to be specific in asking.
