Saint Patrick's Day? Ughh this day can just go and fuck right off, it's just all Americansed like all 'holidays' and it makes me want to puke, sorry lol.
I'm still okay with the Scottish holidays so far so good .. Saint Andrews, Rabbie Burns, Hogmannay, I love ceilidh dancing, we've not yet been taken over..
I'm best friends with a Republican who actually drove away in his camper to get away from the shit (shite he says!) . I love the bones of him and his philosophies on religion and being a true Irish/Celt so I get the frustrations he has of this prettty much 'fake' 'holiday'. Sorry for the rant but I just hate bullshit, like him x

(It was fun making fun with a few others earlier though lol!)

In fairness, Americans have ruined things a lot more serious than St. Patrick's Day. We just like the excuse to abuse alcohol and have if it be marginally socially acceptable. That's the real American past-time.

Meh, I could drink you under the table, I don't think alcohol drives America, I think it's money and power. But I will put a full stop down now or it will get messy. You could still ruin me if you want to Daddy? x

Oh lord, I make no claims to being able to hold my booze at a high level at this point in my life. I am a social drink at most at this stage, and I'm okay with that. :)

And yes, money especially drives much of 'how' things are done in this country. But for the 330M plus of us who do not have the money, there's a good subset that indulge the shit out of their vices, that's all.

And you had me at 'ruin you'. The rest of that is...whatever in comparison to that. ;)

I just found found it amusing that you thought alcohol was a major issue in the US besides anything else. On that front i think you're doing pretty well and you could teach us in Scotland something. Maybe not much else though that's all...

Tonnes of vices here, what are yours? Besides ruining people x

I am of Scottish descent, but full blooded American. Let us share a drink in common agreements and leave the arguments to others.
