The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Happy Saturday!!! Slept okay if not long enough. Woke up for a minute and never went back to sleep. Ethyl got in a bit of snoring and then jumped mightily from something in her dream, I reckon. Kitten is in doing a bit of grooming after she got a bit of combing. They've had their can of mushy goodness. Kibble and litter are on the list for tomorrow.

It just hit me - let's put the list on the phone this week and try that out.

Breakfast with Dr. Tyler in 3.5 more hours.

How's Dr. Tyler?

I have to say that when it was going down I wish a few people were there to help me.out.... I did say that I didn't appreciate being mocked about standing up for principles and what I felt was right....

Fierce!!
I agree with you on the vileness of coffee. I won't eat/drink anything that has coffee in it. I can always taste it. 🤮
We're a mixed bunch in my family.
Die hard coffee drinkers and those who won't touch it
Can be interesting watching the coffee siblings when they visit the no coffee siblings on that first morning when they realize they aren't set for morning sippies. :coffee:
About the only time a breakfast plan comes together quickly.

Evening, all. Evening for me, that is. Just visited with the person who will be visiting to care for my cat while I'm out of town training. Seems like a nice person so that's one item off my list. Now to dust off my traveling skills and get my stuff packed for Sunday.

How's everyone else doing?

I love all of these. However, I do have a question about #6. Is W the arbiter of "Responsible?" 🤣🤣🤣

Doing well. Good luck and safe travels.

In a musical mood today. Sticking w the luck of the Irish. Saw Van at JazzFest New Orleans in ‘19. The highlight of that festival!

About the only time a breakfast plan comes together quickly.

I grew up with my Dad putting southern style biscuits into a cup of coffee till they moosh then spooning them up. I always loved that taste.

Didn't drink coffee again until I started driving a truck. I could get free coffee with fill-up points at the truck stops. Now my coffee is mostly caramel flavored with chocolate protein drink as creamer.

Good cook helps. The rest sounds frustrating.
My parents were often open to listen... didn't always change their decision, but allowed both sides to have a better understanding overall.

Wise words. Personal reccos mean a lot to me.
I have "fired" (i.e. changed providers) many providers over the years. Some just not a good fit and others? I'll just say they weren't up to my standards and leave it at that.
It's so important to find providers who mesh with you. I always let anyone new to me know I expect them to be my partner in my care.

Some of the boys in my family do that whole "dunk until it dissolves then spoon it up" routine with coffee (milk for youngsters). Gack - hard pass

I prefer black coffee - definitely no creamer and preferably no sweetener either. However, I like starting my day off with protein, so I'm in the habit of using a shot of one of these first thing:

They both have artificial sweetener, but one I tolerate in small amounts. "Neutral" for LPS does not mean unsweetened, just unflavored. 1 oz. in 2 cups coffee makes it taste lightly sweetened.
I got 6 hrs, but I guess I needed more.
ahem...

This weeks lodgings leave a bit to be desired. I missed something in the fine print.
That bites... uhm, not literally, right??
Please say, "No bedbugs" 🙏

 I think this may be the only line dance I know :ROFLMAO:
