"It's always only me!". I just told my wife that after she just said "I don't think is just you." Referring to how long it's taking my new employer to pull my non existent records. They use a service called Driver Pulse that sends me a status bar in Percentage Finished. It's been going backwards the last couple of days. I can't make this stuff up.

When I had my first ever industrial job after a failed college attempt (a whole other story that includes Doc Severinsen and a coma), the maintenance department nicknamed me Black Cloud. Everything I touched broke. Every shift I worked became a shutdown. I could find the chink in any armor just by breathing on it.

I should move to Las Vegas and be a cooler for a casino.

We have a dog park near by with a small pond. Dog like to go in it and then role around in the mud. They do have a wash station so tha tis handy. I keep our guys on a leash till it is out of view then let them run.

When you let them run, do they run back to the pond??

Morning all. Nursing is HARD bizz! . Sleeping in a chair didn’t cut it so broke out the cot. Slept much better, but the wake-ups every couple three hours…

New knees are like new babies as far as sleep goes... at least for the first little bit. Once you manage to sleep through the night and stretch out the pain med windows... life gets really good again.
So, eyes on the prize and cat naps until then!!
It will change and when it does, it gets better!!
Keep a few different size pillows and towels handy though. Until that range of motion is achieved, you may need varying amounts of support to keep from hyperextending the knee while you sleep. That phase can be challenging and somewhat more irksome to manage than the initial pain med-sleep cycle IMO. It really does get better though!!

No shame, no judgment... just enjoyment.
More caramel and chocolate in your cup means less in mine - and for that I am very thankful.

I coffee but gave up caffeine so I drink decaf. One travel mug a day w/ a liquid collagen protein that doubles as a mild sweetener. I prefer black but can't resist that 15-30 gram protein boost first thing.

After that it's herbal tea and flat water mostly. The occasional unflavored charged water for a bubble boost.

I should move to Las Vegas and be a cooler for a casino.

That's an awesome idea! Wonder what that pays? I may be qualified, too.
