This month is my birthday and the local movie theater offers a free bucket of popcorn if you come in during your birthday month. So I went to see "Mickey 17" tonight. By myself, sadly. There were three other people in the theater so it was quiet. Interesting movie, still absorbing some of the ideas.

I'm a notorious over-packer (Mary Poppins Syndrome). I use a smaller bag than desired, pack everything once. Then edit (i.e. remove, not add) twice... then move everything to the smaller bag and edit more if there's still too much stuff. It's a process.

My advice? Stop walking on eggshells around her. Treat her exactly as you treat everyone else.

ALWAYS have a witness, preferably the aforementioned "close personal friend," the shop steward, if/when you need to counsel her. Keep meticulous notes.

It's a PITA, I know. And, I'm probably not telling you anything you don't know. This kind of narcissistic bullying needs to stop. I'm so sorry!

Frankly, if I could afford it, I’d retire now and walk away. I’m eligible, but if I punch out before I’m 62 I lose 5% if my retirement per year that I’m under 62. In other words that’s about $500 a month - over the course of the rest of my life. Sorry, nobody’s driving me away for $500 a month.

I was put on that in my 20s - before I knew better about researching before blindly filling and taking an Rx. Still taking it to this day. It's keeping my cholesterol and triglycerides controlled since diet and exercise alone were not enough.
I find Wikipedia a pretty good source for mostly plain language info on drugs. I'm not a pharmacist or chemist so the peer reviewed articles and studies often get too technical for me.

Overall I enjoyed the movie. The premise is a bit shaky, imo, and the main villain is a cartoon. Overall though it did keep me engaged and the plot asked some interesting questions. And yes I'm being super vague to avoid spoilers.
